I bought my GF one of those “too good to be true” Pro knockoff. The product description stated it had rumble, gyro controls, everything BUT, NFC. I figured if it was fake, I’d return and get my money back. It had all that, and over a year later, many game hours, it’s still working. I’m still blown away.

Also got one of those. Aside from the rumble being very loud, it works perfectly. Bought it from a Chinese seller on Amazon.
I love the 10 dollar controllers. They have worked for me and have beaten many games. I only use real pro controllers for like smash bros or shooters where the dead zones are important.

I have a plain version of the grey felt case from Pro Case that has no branding on it. It looks nothing like a gaming case, but something you carry coupons in. I like it because it doesn't scream steal me.

My friend recently bought a knock off pro controller on Amazon for $25. I thought it was over advertising but it legit has gyro control, rumble, and even an NFC reader. I was so surprised

I have three of those and i have yet to be disappointed, only one of them has a drifting gyro for some reason

$10 controllers is great for younger kids or super negligent older kids in my case.
In my personal experience, I strictly recommend outside to those types and restrict electronic use to kids that have learned to take care of things.

I have one of the felt style cases. A little nicer then what you had here and just plain grey - it's worked really well for the last two years and the fact that it doesn't look like a game case has stopped it from being stolen twice, lol.

Don’t know if you know this, but you’re supposed to face the TV when you swing a golf club. I found this out after two weeks of playing and wondering why my shots always curve to the right

bob the problem was you were supposed to use non wet water, and a feather drill. the case would have survived. lol
the switch case reminds me of the one i got from 5 and below but it was just straight up hard plastic, and the 1st one i got had a broke clip. i don't even use it because it feels like it's scratching my switch. and i can't push the buttons either.
i liked the idea of the pokedex case until i found out it didn't really hold the games well, and even if it did it only held 4.

Pro tip about the Splatoon News problem. If you set you switch to airplane mode first in handheld and then start the game up it skips the news. Then you put it in Dock mode and boom. :) .

I feel like the "Golf club Joy-Con holder" for Mario Golf is going to get much more use scratching Bahb's forehead. I could just see him being on stream and saying: "Hey! Where's my forehead-scratchy-thing?" when he's frustrated and has an itchy forehead, then pulling this out and going to town. lol
What I'd love to see is maybe some "Pro" style controllers that aren't quite as cheap as these but have far better feeling buttons & sticks for maybe just a bit more money. Are there any controllers that have wireless, vibration & motion controls w buttons that are at least halfway decent for maybe around 20 bucks or so?

It works as far as cases (or purses) goes, no drop protection obviously, but just as a cheap carrying case, it works, while you save money for a better case lol
im so glad that my first regular switch was the mario anniversary switch so you get a good special edition case for free which i only got because i was out of town and was in a area where its much easier to get shit because the demographic isnt really towards people who buy a lot of consoles. my best friend got a ps5 on release date and there was only like 2 other people

I had that one too, same color, same texture. It doubles as my man-purse.
Those controllers are perfect for my kids because they can be rough on them with no worry since they are so cheap.
In my experience even breathing on first party controllers wrong will cause them to break.
Im pretty gentle with my stuff but i noticed i started getting drift in my left joycon a couple days ago.
Also brand new first party pro controller has the spirit of a hognose snake... because it will suddenly "die" and insist that it is "dead" after only minutes of use on a full charge. I know the battery isnt dead because i can pop it into my 3DS and see its fully charged still.
Meanwhile i bought a thrid party pro controller and not only does the build quality feel much better but the thing actually works for more than a couple minutes wirelessly.

i have one of those felt cases for my switch lite but mine is black with orange inside and it's served me well for about a year now so i'd recommend

The D-pad on the Blue "Pro" controller, are they separated ? Been looking for a wireless controller to use on PC in the Xbox analog layout with completely separated D-pad, and that looks like it fits my requirements.

i have that exact same clear pro controller that i got a couple years ago. not being able to read amiibo is unfortunate sometimes, but it's a reliable controller that does have rumble, and the turbo button has completely changed how i play certain games.
I have the nyko charging dock (the one you can daisy chain together) for my pro controller.

i got a 2ft Blue lightning LED cable thats usb C for my pro controller and it ACTUALLY has the same little magnet for the usb-c plug for that charging dock and i actually love it, i have one for my phone and pro controller and the cables are interswappable as long as u have the plug for ur device. it's weird for you since its attached to a dock but im 99% sure u can get a similar cable to mine and itll just suck right to it when its near by i dont ever have to physically put it in/pull it out anymore

Fun fact, all these items have now joined the Wii peripherals and are also slowly rotting away at the landfill.
The $20 (at Walmart) power A wired controller works wonderfully. No motion or rumble but it’s really amazing. I use it on my computer on steam and steam sees it as a switch pro controller. I use it when I stream and it’s wonderful!
