if the indoor station has to point to the outdoor station, what happens if you have two outdoor stations? i.e im planning on having one indoor stastion, a doorbell intercom and also a intercom on my gates?
Based on Hik idiot logic, you have to pair the second door unit (as SUB door unit) with the main door unit (!!!!!!!!!!) So not that way as every single normal brain thinks,( pair every doorbell with the monitor). U have to set same door floor building etc on the sub unit but unit number on main need to be 0, on sub need to be 1
I can not understand why Hikvision haven’t used the SD card for motion images and capture of live calls even if they had allowed this on the internal monitor so images are in a protected area it’s a missed opportunity with this product and a big one at that.
It takes snapshots and you can manually record from indoor station , I am also pushing them to save the video from motion or a call , I think it’s achievable 😊

I've found in the manual the the doorbell as is standard IP address, and you need the activate the unit before you can configure it. When you activate it tru the software, does it still need to be on the same subnet? When it's activate I can change the IP/subnet?

Thx for your fast reply, I will give it a go. I've seen some videos that you can activated the indoor station on the unit itself, create a password and then you can change the IP to the desired one. Does anyone know how to setup STATIC IP for WIFI connection? In the configuration you can setup static IP's only for the LAN (wired)... It is a nightmare to configure these units!!
Ohh U cant. This shit not able to do it. VERY frustrating idiots working at hikvision. You can do it other way, using your router DHCP reservation option, if it has this. This giving same (reservated) address every time to the unit you set it to
@@szegfusanya yeah my router can’t do it either (another crap).. I ended up pulling cat 5e cable to the outdoor unit… i trust cable more than wifi anyway :) it’s very stupid though to not be able to setup static IP.

Are you able to do a video on how to add that in?
sure I can do this , in reality its using the IP of the camera , NVR or DVR when adding a camera to indoor station , IE 192.168.1.100 ( or whatever ) then RTSP port is set to 554 , then username and password of the device your connecting to , and channel number will be 1 , or 2 for camera 2 of NVR / DVR 😊
@@DVSLTD I have the cameras hooked up to the PoE ports of the NVR, so I assume when adding a the camera (via IVMS) I would type in the IP address of the NVR and the channel is what defines which camera is added? Either way, I think this would be beneficial to know for others also :)

if the indoor station has to point to the outdoor station, what happens if you have two outdoor stations? i.e im planning on having one indoor stastion, a doorbell intercom and also a intercom on my gates?
