Always have issues getting zipper started on rear window, I'll try removing bar next time, thanks
Yes that back zipper is always hard. Removing the bar should help.
I have a TJ, when I opened the hatch then do a quarter fold, just to get some fresh air in from the roof, now, recently, had to stop because whole soft top is moving backwards when I drive, it's very unsafe, whole top is moving. Why is this occurring? Even when soft top is connected with velcro to both bars
Certain door surrounds have an additional notch that certain style softops latch into. Essentially, it gives another latch point. You also want to check the spreader bar. You can also get an adjustable mount that can help put additional tension on the top. It helps tremendously as the too gets older and eventually stretches out. Check out bestop, they sell that kit.
The mount for the spreader bar is what I'm referring to. It's the one directly behind the seats on the first Roll cage part.
Ok, thank you, it's a new besttop, so, I do not understand why this issue, everything looks secure, accept in sides. Does the sides(elbow fold) ever have screws to keep it down because it does not on mine(LJ)
