@@gloriouswar9116 Patience and a good tide. Hit areas under street lamps and around bridges. Deeper holes in Estuaries, especially on a bend where there is a nice sweep of tidal flow, and somewhere for them to tuck up at low.
Hit the corners of the beaches where they meet the rock points, get into the deeper water channels and hang a mullie or squid out to drown.
Night is the best time to fish for the big ones, but, having said that, plenty are caught on all tides and during the day. A well presented bait or lure is often the key, not the tides or times. Having said that, there are some times you can expect more action, but that depends largely on locality and bait they are chasing. Some places fish better on the rise to the high, others on the top and drop, some on dead bottom. Harp to give an indication but, generally night.
Good luck with the metrey. Keep plugging and it will happen. And then you will know you are onto a fish!

They have some surprisingly decent gear, the 1/8th jigheads are brilliant, you save anywhere from $2-5 per packet of 8 jigheads, its great. I don't mind buying ball sinkers there because...well you cant get a sinker wrong and its cheaper!. Hope your well shroom, ill be eagerly waiting for next's weeks drop!

I don't know for sure Daniel, I just assume we only have yellowfin here but I do know areas where they look like suspect black bream

Hi shroom, how would you define working lure slowly for bream? Say for instance you are working a grub. How much would you crank reel? Ie one rotation or half crank?
Reel crank depends on a lot of factors Felix, size of reel, how much it is spooled, and also retrieve ratio. Just go by how hurried the lure looks in the water. Is it in a rush when you are moving it? If it looks slow then that’s what might be best

Try the jetty at Spencer near wisemans ferry. Have caught most off my monster fish there and I fish all over nsw .best bait live tailer or mullet .big flat head lots off jew all sizes sharks bream and lots more .best time I noticed was early night tide changes but have had many fish in between a really special spot there

Hey @Shroom do you ever fish with bait? I never see anyone use lures near me on the wharves and I haven't had any luck with them myself. I've used the top 3 you recommended on the ALF podcast. Just wondering if you fish with lures for the challenge or another reason? Thanks.
Hey Dom, yes I do. I actually do a lot more bait fishing than I used to these days at least for videos. I need to resume my podcasts as well, I've been busy but hope to get back on that horse. I find lure fishing enjoyable and easier to just get a session going with less preparation and time. Also mobility is a factor, it helps with exploring the waters around oneself!

In this video I used the Cyansky HS5R (link in description) but I often use the HS6R and other headtorches depending on my needs
