most spirits that are in a church or holy ground will not be disturbed unless the spirit had a thing before it passed by thing i mean if they were racist when they were alive. most of the spirits that are in a church will welcome those they think are there to ask for guidance from their god and most of the time they will assume that they are doing gods work simply because they havent passed on. of course like i said above about race that can play into some factor of hate from the spirit. i have live in a town and the local church was haunted by a spirit that still believed that it was in the time when discrimination was a thing and sadly the spirit would haunt those that were of other color. simple harmless ghost. other times a ghost can be very mean in a church if in the churches history they used it as a means to seal a spirit. those that are sealed will cause a lot of property damage and bodily harm. like another i church i went to when i was younger. the spirit there got sealed away because it was causing the local villagers at the time suffering. so what do they decide to do seal it on holy ground instead of just banishing it from the land. that spirit was a mean one and still is. the last time i was there the church burned down from a simple bday candle and was slowly being rebuilt. who knew IL has so many haunted churches.
fun fact about the spirit is it would never hurt kids. most spirits can be ranked depending on how hard it is to "kill" it if you will. but back on topic the music loving ghost could either be 1 of 2 things A) a residual spirit meaning that it is in a constant loop much like a movie. or B) the spirit knew that were there and saw them as no threat and continued to play based on the assumption that they needed the help of a higher being and to help them speak to said being decided to keep on playing to soothe the mind, body, and soul.
i have live in a lot of places and most of them haunted with some nice spirits like a granny who doesnt know she passed on and loves to take care of little kids to a near demonic spirit that would love to make you life a thousand time worse. and it doesnt hurt that your father was a ex ghost hunter and has done a little research of his own when he tells you about his experience back in the day

My grandfather used to tell me a story about how he and his friends came across a church one dark night, and heard a piano play, though the church should have been closed. According to him, no one was brave enough to enter, so they all left the church alive. I don’t know if he made it up or not, but #14 sounds pretty similar to his story.

I always hear footsteps in my hallway. It isn't my parents they are dead asleep and I don't have any siblings. I also feel like a woman is looking at me when I turn off the lights. I hear pebbles getting thrown at my door and footsteps behind my house. I believe it is my Aunt who had passed away or the ghost in her house. My cousins and I were always terrified of my aunt's house it felt haunted. when she was diagnosed with cancer my mom and I loved their for a couple months I noticed weird things all the time. I would wake up at 2 am and go down stairs into the kitchen to get a soda when the washer would start. the lights for the pool were sensitive of you walked by it and it would turn on. I woke up 5 times in the small bar and my mom said she didn't do it. My cousins and I all had bad incidents in the house. I was drowning and I couldn't get up it felt like I was getting pushed down and my cousin saw the cats shadow going up the stairs by standing up. the computer one time glitched with faces. the phone would always ring without anyone their. I saved the most scariest part of the house. The up stairs bathroom the reason it was creepy is because it had an extra door that was always locked and you would hear nosies outside of the bathroom. Nobody ever went in their. Once my Aunt died my cat died the same day causes unknown his name was lucky and he was 1 year old. I miss him and I will always believe what I saw was demons things like this had happen to my mom before like she saw her dead mom saying her name and kept saying please let me in. my mom needed a thearpist in high school for thay

As for the piano incident at the church...it never ceases to amaze me that people go to these places, hoping to catch some evidence of ghosts, and when they get what they want, instead of investigating further, they run like hell.
And why be scared of a piano-playing ghost in the first place? Why not just listen politely, then clap afterward? (the playing sounded damn good to me, that ghost's got talent)
