My husband and I stayed at Shamwari for 2 nights some years ago, whilst on holiday from the UK. SA was my home country, and I wanted to show my husband the beauty of Africa. We were so honoured to visit Shamwari, and it's there that my husband fell in love with the game drives. I just loved being back in the Bush again. It wasn't a long enough stay, but it gave us a longing to do it again. Thank you, Shamwari, for being a catalyst for conservation.

I feel like this is where I belong
Ever since I was 8 I fell in love with the parks and reserves of South Africa. I've always loved nature and wild life. I'm currently a honory junior ranger for SANparks and I love it more than every. Experiencing the parks for free and helping maintain the park. I also injoy going on game drives and night drives and seeing the happy faces of everyone from cities and other countries and learning the stories of the animals by heart.
I can't see myself doing a other job once I've finished school, game ranger/ field guide what better could there be. I also want to be part of nature and protect wildlife and I've got to thank you guys at Shamwari for lighting a spark in me. Ever since I've heard of Shamwari I wanted to become a ranger. The love of wildlife is forever in me because of you guys, what I have heard and seen on this channel and on TV about Shamwari just makes my heart skip a beat. Shamwari is really the only reserve in SA where I would love to work at.

A really well made and photographed promotion. There are few better places (having lived in SA) to experience "islands" of calm which African wildlife environments offer.
