The incredible beauty of West Virginia--into Virginia! (7-23)

After leaving our campground at Army Camp, we came across the beautiful fall colors at Glade Creek Reservoir, where I get some drone footage.
We wind along the gorgeous mountain roads and come to the wonderful town of Hinton, right on the New River. Carol gets a friendly wave as we photograph the sites there.
As we leave town, we find a great little barbecue joint--well, Trailer--and enjoy some pulled pork and ribs. Trigger begs for his share!
We end our day in White Rocks Campground in Virginia, just barely. We get surprised by a bunch of hunting dogs who've been chasing and treeing bears all day. The owners lost them, they did have radio collars on, and figured they were coming right to our camp! As they come in, Trigger pulls out of his restraint and somehow scares these dogs--go figure!
We end our day strolling to the creek where we find these incredible ferns in full fall color.
