I'm sorry man, but that comment is delusional. Ami fairly took the win. She was clearly the most consistent. 671 did not completely mark many of her moves. There's even a point (4:57) when an obvious lack of technique is showing. All in all, I think the 4 - 1 judge result is too much... It shoud have been 3 - 2.
@@MerlotAndTheColdSteelCoffin You definitely konw Ami is red bull bc one all-star, that's why she won the belt. By the way, judge movie one never voted 671 with big bias against 671 that night. It's never a fair fight
Just know all judges have their own implicit biases. I have a bias towards uniqueness & all rounders. 671 is a fantastic power mover, but she rushes which leads to sloppiness & crashing. Ami is more of a slow burn; still has power and a great foundation.
don't say "671 was robbed", she crashed like 3 or 4 times, repeated a lot of moves and danced like "outside of the beat" a few times, while Ami kept the flow and the pace by the whole time
ami repeated the same moves every battles, especiolly windmill, power move basicy, dont power... another point, 671 round 1 was of the beat and ami dont do it.
In my personal perspective, it's quite disheartening to witness 671's loss to AMI in this competition. Even though 671 stumbled a few times, her display of exceptionally challenging dance moves was remarkable. What's even more striking is the undeniable energy from the crowd, which was significantly more vivacious when 671 was on stage. AMI, on the other hand, undoubtedly executed clean moves, but these were not on the same level of difficulty as those performed by 671. It's essential to remember that breakers should not play it safe in their routines. The dance world values power moves and challenging techniques over simplicity for a reason. These dynamic and strenuous moves require an incredible amount of skill, practice, and physical strength. They are a testament to a dancer's dedication and their ability to push the boundaries of what's possible in the art of dance. Furthermore, when a dancer like 671 executes such powerful moves, it not only impresses the audience but also inspires others in the dance community. It sets a standard for excellence and encourages fellow dancers to strive for greater heights in their performances. In contrast, routines that rely solely on clean, simple moves with little crowd reaction can be seen as lacking the innovation and daring spirit that characterizes breakdancing. All of these factors considered, it becomes even more apparent that 671's defeat was unjust, and her bold, powerful approach to the dance floor should have been celebrated and recognized for the artistry it truly represents.
I agree with many of your points, but I disagree that it was unjust. To me I'd been fine with either one of them winning. You clearly recognise and value the effort, artistry, and risk taken by 671 to compete with such high level power moves, and also doing so with a very wide repertoire and sewing it together coherently. However, to not fully recognise what Ami brings to the table gives you a very skewed view of the dance in my opinion. Ami is clean, yes, but she's not only that. Every detail in her dance is executed cleanly, even just a single step, and she maintains her form, a geometrical contour, throughout all of her dance, even with her power moves. Someone else that does that is bboy Victor for example. Ami's powermoves are also not easy and always perfectly executed. Many can do the same powermoves as her, but not to her level. On top of that, her top roc and footwork is second to none. Her artistry is focused on different things, and in true Japanese fashion has dug really deep in a few core areas. To me, comparing these two and judging them is highly subjective. It's like comparing between J.R.R Tolkien and Dostojevski. Their stories and writing are focused on different things and ultimately will come down to your personal preferences.
@@kranakimAccording to your logic shouldn't this bc one bboy side winner be mighty jake? As much as you value the power-move, I'd like you to take a deep look at the other elements (style, detail, Musicality)
@@hyobinyoo1476 that not what I mean, I was countering what @BohanLi said that "whoever wins the crowd wins the battle". Just what I have said, this isn't a cypher it's a competition wherein footworks, musicality, cleanliness of the set, tecnnicality... etc matters more than the cheers of the crowd. Hence why I think Ami deserved the win.

There is. Mutual Respect. 1) You do not have to get into peoples faces to do a taunt. You can burn at a distance. No touching always- you wkll loose points for that. 2) Judges want to see your dance style. Ami is showing her groove and Top rock. 671 has massive potential, and is a powerhouse. But she needs to shift her focus from being cocky to enjoying the dance and music. 3) Ami is smooth with the intricate freeze poses that she slips into her combo flows. Mad props to 671-she still young and new to the game. Once she is humbled, I guarentee she will pick up the styles from the opponents she looses too. Once she has fun with the dance. I can relate to her poping flavor Top rock. I do that too! She will pick up on the BGirl steeze in 3-5 years. At that point, she will have the Best of Both worlds.
Which time she crashed ? Ami also lost The beat in First round

@@Ermude10whoever wins the crowd wins the battle. That’s street culture, never forget the root of hip hop!

This is my prediction. 2028 look out 671 will be an all around refined beast.
