could be that the email is being sent as plain text, the banner format and color will only be applied to html emails... havent found a solution to this
problem I have is, now the users complain when they reply to an external email. That warning is at the top.. they dont want the clients to see that. Any suggestions how to work around?
@@bearded365guy The large gov enterprise I work for apparently dissagrees.. LOL had to revert the change. Now have to find another solution. Thank you for the video however, still great content!

This worked well for me. After entering in the text it took effect immediately after I saved and got back a Done notification.

Clients do see that. But it shows you’re taking cyber security seriously. It can only be a good thing?

Watch my video about configuring Defender for 365. If you use that, you can add some subtle tips to emails which looks less like banners.
@@MethosReborn5930 Microsoft has released their native version for this which should dynamically apply the external tagging to your view only
They can literally just delete it themselves. Or add it to the bottom with the "append" option.
