A simply brilliant painter of the visible world.
The handling of paint is both spectacularly skilful and sublimely beautiful.
I find it odd that despite the manic nature of the surface, there is a calmness and contemplative quality to the paintings. Also, the subtleties of atmospheric tone are as perfectly considered as in anything by conventional realist artists of the past.
I wish I could attempt to use oil paint with even a fraction of his confidence and abandon.

A joy to wach the process and the final result…he makes it look so smooth and easy; those who tried and are doing it, know very well; how much talent, practice, and, above all, the work and effort goes into it!
