and it will stay like this, DA4 will suck as hard as DA2 and Inquisition. They butchered that Baldurs Gate like gameplay and magic that DA:O and Awekaning had.
@@SasuraiTenshi For me it did, it gave us more of DA 2 and nothing of DA:O and it's DLC's. The last good thing that we received was "The Witch Hunt". Agree, Origins is teh best by far, to me, a masterpiece. Sadly DA2 suffered because trash EA gave them only 6 months to make the game which sucks and DAI was a great game buried under a lot of crap which made playing it a chore. DA4 i have little hope for as everyone who made Origins good is no longer at the company but who knows, they could surprise us, i mean they did drop multiplayer :0
Diego Rangel I cried when I first heard this because I had sacrificed Alistair by accident. I didn't know that rejecting the ritual and bringing him with hardened would make him do it. I also was pissed pissed that anora got the bloody throne.
I sat there, wet eyed. Just feeling good about everything. Then I played it again recently and sat there again, noting to myself that this is best game I've ever played. Even in 2021 :3
I was so frustrated with the combat but when I heard this song I was like, 'ok, I'm over it... Time for round two!' Maybe I'll just turn off the in game music and play this during battle instead.
This game was a marvel. A beautiful gem. Something must have been in the stars because in short amount of time we got miracles like Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Witcher 1 and Dragon Age: Origins. What a time to be in the early twenties, going to college, playing this with friends, sharing the beautiful experience, not a care in the world :)
+Eszti1218 yes I did die but if you romance morrigan she does this this ritual with you and you don't die and then if you beat the game the dlc are if you don't die but I didn't do that I kinda wanted my character to die it would seem like a fitting end to his journey
Ghost 711 You don't have to romance Morrigan to not die. Even if you are playing as a girl, you can just convince Alistair to do the ritual with her. I miss the certain darkness you experienced with Origins. I want more of the dirty and disgusting secrets rather than the heartwrecking ones you got in Inquistion.
It's not the fact that he did less, Hawke was a completely different story and was even more normal than the Warden, personally i still like Hawke but making a Warden and having him overcome all odds and being the very person to whom fate rests is simply a better experience

Sad but true.

When I finished the game, all I was thinking about was nothing but Morrigan. ----SPOILER---- Origins main story ending was heart-breaking for me as I wanted my Warden to be with Morrigan. I played Origins and 2 just a few years ago, so the controversy wasn’t relevant to me, I enjoyed 2 more actually. But I imagine those who played Origins and then 2 when it released were pissed.
There are only two quotes that come into mind: "In war, victory. In peace, vigilance. In death, sacrifice." - Grey Warden Motto. "My name is Klein." - BallsDeep69.
From what Bioware has announced, Every Dragon Age has (in some way) been linked together even if it's not directly and the Mage Vs Templar main story in Hawke's story is important since your new character is a member of a Inquisition but thats all i remember of it (Hawke Meeting the warden would be...interesting....i wonder if they'd give him/her a voice and i hope it won't disappoint since there is no rush this time, Mass Effect 4.......i wonder when they'll start on it :D
it shames my to say this but I've never beaten dragon age origins, I've had it since day one but after that first epic battle the rest of the game never reaches that height; and I just can't get past it, does it get epic again before the final battle or is it really those 2 epic parts and the build up to them?
i just beat this game and it was extremely epic, hated that friken 'broodmother' though, but when i finally beat her, idk if this always happens for it but when i beat the thing it did the kinda slow motion finisher kinda like wut it does for ogres if u do it right, but wayyy more epic, umm now that i think of it, could someone tell me if thats a regular thing or not, i find it interesting seeing as how theres only 1 of her soooo yeah
@gab2541996 Eh, if EA didn't force bioware into rushing DA2, it probably would have been as, if not more, epic than DA:O. But what are you gunna do. All we can do is provide good feedback so that when it comes time for DA3, it'll be better than both combined. Just for those of you who don't know, DA:O was developed over 5 years. DA2 was developed over about 1.5-2 years. That being said, it makes sense why DA2 was nowhere close to DA:O.
@gab2541996 ...you make a good point i didnt quite catch that ..i think people are only calling it crappy and bad because to them it feels like a downgrade Like.... Going from taking on the whole of a country/land To becoming a champion of 1 place (kinda like if you did 1 area in Fereldan) Personally i loved DA2 Bioware were trying to bring more of the audience into the system with DA2 because they made it more free flow rather then tactical...i guess it just ruined some peoples expectation
@Sproeikoei yeh it's true, it was clear that you would stay in the same place and it wouldnt be as expansive as Origins but people assumed it was going to be this almighty journey like Origins. personally i liked it and continued playing it (4 playthroughs since i bought it) i would've liked more of a ....choice though...i liked being able to choose the differances like Human and Elf and such but it was a good game with a decent story and it looked good too :3
DA2's problem wasn't that it was necessarily a bad game. Its problem was that it didn't feel like Dragon Age, thus alienating the fans of the franchise. Beyond that, I take a few issues with certain things, but it was a decent game overall. I hated the way they fought on DA2, for starters.
In war, Victory
In peace, Vigilance
In death, Sacrifice.

I played Origins and 2 just a few years ago, so the controversy wasn’t relevant to me, I enjoyed 2 more actually.
But I imagine those who played Origins and then 2 when it released were pissed.
@@spiderz5145 people dislike change
@@notawehraboo6159 they were just on the Origins high.
I don't even remember if there is a song like this as credit scene..
There are only two quotes that come into mind:
"In war, victory.
@AlabamaSoldier
I laughed out so loud on this. lol
I'm on my third playthrough, and I just now realized that this song was made for Dragon Age *facepalm* No wonder I love this song so much xD
@laatuankka march is long gone XD
This is where the song came from? Seriously? Had no idea.
it shames my to say this but I've never beaten dragon age origins, I've had it since day one but after that first epic battle the rest of the game never reaches that height; and I just can't get past it, does it get epic again before the final battle or is it really those 2 epic parts and the build up to them?
Why did i never hear this song before? :O Is it the backing-track for the credits?
Must have skipped them everytime -_-
Bioware had once the best credit-songs ever. Why did they throw them out?
so it always happens, cool, still felt completley fucking awesome to do it though
i just beat this game and it was extremely epic, hated that friken 'broodmother' though, but when i finally beat her, idk if this always happens for it but when i beat the thing it did the kinda slow motion finisher kinda like wut it does for ogres if u do it right, but wayyy more epic, umm now that i think of it, could someone tell me if thats a regular thing or not, i find it interesting seeing as how theres only 1 of her soooo yeah
The last true Bioware RPG
@gab2541996
Eh, if EA didn't force bioware into rushing DA2, it probably would have been as, if not more, epic than DA:O.
I thought who ever gets the killing blow climbs up on it's back and cuts it's neck. Slow-mo like.
@gab2541996 ...you make a good point i didnt quite catch that ..i think people are only calling it crappy and bad because to them it feels like a downgrade
Like....
Going from taking on the whole of a country/land
To becoming a champion of 1 place (kinda like if you did 1 area in Fereldan)
Personally i loved DA2
Bioware were trying to bring more of the audience into the system with DA2 because they made it more free flow rather then tactical...i guess it just ruined some peoples expectation
Kick ass!
He was when I made him.
@Sproeikoei yeh it's true, it was clear that you would stay in the same place and it wouldnt be as expansive as Origins but people assumed it was going to be this almighty journey like Origins.
personally i liked it and continued playing it (4 playthroughs since i bought it)
i would've liked more of a ....choice though...i liked being able to choose the differances like Human and Elf and such but it was a good game with a decent story and it looked good too :3
DA2's problem wasn't that it was necessarily a bad game. Its problem was that it didn't feel like Dragon Age, thus alienating the fans of the franchise. Beyond that, I take a few issues with certain things, but it was a decent game overall.
I hated the way they fought on DA2, for starters.
this feels like it's slightly different from the original but i can't pinpoint what it is. am i imagining it
ja man das game
