If constant rumours about an unconfirmed game keep floating around, it usually means it's either not happening or was going to happen but was cancelled last minute. The gaming industry is run like DEFCON 5 sadly.
I doubt they will show up if they have not released anything in the last two years for a reveal. Also I think Lego have been partnering with other developers in recent years.
I suppose I would be up for another DC lego game but the question is, how different can you make it? I loved the hub world in how it shares Gotham and Metropolis in DC villains.
@ For starters, A big majority of this would be Dick Grayson’s era as Robin (kinda like a prequel) or maybe Nightwing returns to his Robin role to temporarily work with Batman and would be the debut of LEGO Ratcatcher AKA Otis Flannegan as the main villain.
@ And would kinda be like the first original games, Different suits, Vehicle levels and individual bosses each level. (Villains like Livewire, Firefly, Deathstroke, Bane, Scarecrow, Killer Moth, Riddler, Two-Face and Penguin, Etc.) Batman and Robin/Nightwing are the main characters. Other allies are Catwoman, Batgirl, Red Robin, Damian Wayne and of course the Justice League.

I think it would be cool if they made a full LEGO Sonic game or NINJAGO game. LEGO Sonic has shown to lend itself great over the small dimensions pack alone and they don't seem to have trouble getting their voice actors. LEGO Sonic has also become a pretty strong brand for them as of recent. When I'm talking about a NINJAGO game I mean one solely based on the TV show, with the TV actors.

WB has had a horrible track record this year. Suicide Squad sucked. Mk1 sucked. Multiversus sucked. Their last good game was Hogwarts legavy which came out very early last year. All im saying is i dont want any bad behind the scenes shit happening with TT games if theyre a company owned by WB but im not holding my breath for any greatness anymore.
