I really like the theory of Bee drowning in the sea because that explains her fear of water. However, In my opinion, I think Bee died or almost died from an illness and her dad couldn't find a cure or transformed her into a robot so she wouldn't be ill again. There were a lot of times when they said it or that Bee wasn't sleeping well and she couldn't go outside of her house.

i think violet’s wish was actually to be able to share pieces of her home and of space with cardamon and bee.
not only do her tears contain shapes that depict things she likely remembers from her adventures, but they also affect the biological life in strange ways, mutating it to seem like the types of animals that bee would often see in her temp work.
i think the tears were the broken wish’s way of bringing space to the island so bee and cardamon could get a taste for the environment that violet had such a passion for before they were born.

I think there's a difference between Bee's glitching eyes and the space outlaw's
Bee's eye glitch goes all over the place where as the space outlaws remains in one position and seems to have a pattern, maybe the glitchy eye effect on the space outlaw is more on magic than him being a robot.

Puppycat said something about having a mother; i don't think he's a robot. (The eyeflashing on him was always connected to the warlocks' magic from what I could tell.)
Violet being a robot doesn't make sense, she grew (her wings grew too) and aged as an alien we don't know what her lifespan could be. I thought the machine was just keeping her in cryosleep for space travel. In the episode where she wakes up she says something about how Cardamon wasn't supposed to be awake which meant he was sleeping with her but the plugs got dislodged or something and he woke early to his hibernating mom and had no knowledge of how to wake her. The machine seemed to be keeping her body healthy, i kind of expected her to not be able to walk right away but she could.

@@JayWolf1985 Agreed. I also don't believe that they are robots, even though the theory is interesting. I believe that Bee is the only robot unless PuppyCat and Violet have fake memories of being children that were placed. Just seem a little farfetched. To me Bee resembles the story of Astro Boy and Metropolis. She's a real child who was in an accident or got sick and was turned into a cyborg by her genius dad. But Bee as a Cyborg also has a purpose like the way she protected Deckard and Moully in space and in the final where she protects the island. I think she has a function as some kind of protector and isn't just made into a robot for the sake of just being alive. That's too simple. Also because she's so strong, like Project Ako. Allegri probably grew up with these stories since there are so many references, also to Sailor Moon, who comes from another planet, but is a protector, Kirby's Dreamland (the style and the Eyeball), Rainbow Brite (Sticky looks just like her dog, and the Warlocks remind me of this universe) and even the book Clowning Around (Crispin).

I had a feeling cardamon was a robot bees dad made for violet because it seemed like she really adored kids. In the flashback she absolutely loves Bee’s dad (her favorite from what puppycat says) but he’s human so he grows up. Violet even says “stupid dad” in the end before she goes back to sleep which wasn’t like we saw previously. so at some point, I’m thinking, she probably lost interest in him because he was no longer adorable and small. Puppycat is the Space Outlaw, but I think Puppycat is just Outlaw's soul (including his memories) and when Space Princess betrayed him (shot him), he was split into two. The mages magic tried to trap him but due to the split, only his soul was "trapped", but it morphed into what Puppycat is now.
Deckard is Space Outlaws body, but was given false memories by the Mages and placed into the Wizard family to hide him and use him as collateral after Puppycat escaped.
Again, very bizzare, but the connections between the two (Dimonds, plants, failure, complacentness, the allusion to being prince-like) really hit me.

I think the bigger question is what defines "robot" in this universe vs. cyborg. Both technologies appear to exist. Mooli could be a robot. But Bee and PuppyCat could be cyborgs (brains put into robot bodies) -- or they could be robots that have the memories of other people imprinted onto them. Or, maybe child Bee is still alive, but asleep/in stasis somewhere (which hasn't been revealed to us yet) and she's been living through the BeeBot remotely. This could be similar to how it appears Cardamon's mother controls the island, and maybe she's been experiencing her life through the entire island as her "body".
I think everybody else is human (including Cardamon). They just happen to have taken to living on this island that is actually a gigantic, organically based starship.

Because Bee likes to share her birthday with people? It’s not that deep lol. They weren’t born on the same day in any shape or form. She mentions that he likes eating her birthday candy with her sometimes. If it was literally also his birthday they’d have said that

    • @elimo3901
      @elimo3901 2 года назад +1

Yes, I also believe this. Both because it seems like Bee's dad is Cardamoms' dad. Violet really liked him as a child, and he grew up and he either made Cardamom if he's a robot or Violet and him actually were together as a couple. Makes sense that she's upset when she wakes up, like maybe he left her? I mean he was her favorite, and yes she was an adult when he was a kid, but who knows. Relationships like these have happened. Also it explains why Bee, though a bit slow, suddenly wonders why Cardamom as a child is all alone, and starts helping him and seems sisterly. They could also look alike, where Bee resembles the dad more (brown hair) and Cardamom the mother (purple hair).

I honestly feel like this series was done lazily. They always brought up new topics to the plot but would just scrape the side stories. One thing that confused me is how bee hates water, and canonically in the debut of bee and puppy cat she can’t actually touch water or she electrocutes but in this version she just… doesn’t like water. There was no explanation and I’m someone who needs a reason for everything. I don’t know it’s just my opinion.

To be clear we are to assume that baby Bee was Violet's first child? If Bee and Cardamon share the same "father" that makes them siblings to some extent. If Bee's father altered her to save her life or bring her back I'm guessing he also did something to Cardamon aswell. How long was Cardamon asleep before he woke up and does that mean Bee to some degree knows who Violet and Cardamon are?

I personally have to question the need for the shell to gain independence from the parts. Having conflicting ideas or desires isn't weird, it's just normal, and this is one way that can be shown. Ultimately, the Bee we know isn't just the robotic "hive," but _all_ of them. The "hive" and every single one of the spectral copies (that I like to call "the swarm") together make up the character we know as Bee. Heck, it could be argued that real people are already collectives of trillions of semi-dependent living things all working together, and that's without getting into the even weirder ways to divide a person into multiple distinct entities.
Bee's robot body doesn't strictly need its own sentience because it's not the character we've come to love, only a part of her.

1:10 OMG one of the things that stucked in my head since I've watched it last week is that, in episode 13 near the minute 20:20, Bee puts the first shard in the parasol and it looks like an upside down coffin falling to the ocean, and thats weird, cause this is a cute somber show and you wouldnt put something that looks like that when u are mistyfing so much the ocean during the whole season. Anyways, I still dont buy it, even if in the reboot the direct reference to commit dying has been removed, she says that her father used to made games until she got sick, and im pretty sure whatever that was, it was what killed her, most likely depression.
