This U.S woman's team are professional. Best I've seen forever. My favorite player is Rose Lavelle, she's so adorable and amazing. Her left foot is like the bullet of a gun! Congrats again y'all 👏👏
Even though we had our best defenders on the turf, they failed several times and once resulting in an English goal. I also noticed that Morgan showed a lack of tenacity and guts and also seems to have slowed down. She used to run faster.
Very bad referee, she lets the dirtiest players getaway and didn't give the penalties. Instead of educating the public and players that playing CLEAN is the best and most honorable way to play, just win the ball with skill and speed.
Everybody seems to love Lavelle. I would, too, If somebody could teach her to hit the frame and not shoot over it or to the sides. I am writing this in March of 2023 and nobody will read this but that's O.K. I am writing form more recent experiences (four years after this game) and I can assure everyone that Lavelle's strikes have not gotten any better. The referee failed to give an 11 meter penalty kick against England in the second minute. Had she done her job properly this game would have been won by the USA everything else being equal.
2 well matched teams but England were the better Team and were playing away .. , USA rely on Rapino and Morgan and if those players were injured they would have lost the battle .
