my initial response is to ask the person who told me that someone was gossiping about me is, "What did YOU say to the person when she or he told you negative things about me! And why YOU didn't defend me, since you say your my friend! That's what my 1st reaction would be!!!
Concupiscence in modern times is something like dreaming about lust for what god doesn’t want you to have. Like thinking of lusting after fresh which doesn’t belong to you. Example having a crush on a co worker to the point you don’t lust after your spouse because the perverse has taken over. Repent and pray for forgiveness
