I dont understand the reaction from pundits and some fans, did they expect us to start winning by 4 goals right from the off? I think garnachos decision making on the ball cost us at times but his movement was good from that position he clearly takes tactical information in quickly. That midfield 2 has got to change imo.

8:02 Rashford's positioning is poor for a centre forward. He has to been getting into the box. He only had 13 touches all game. Same at 10:36 Rashford has to be running in behind to stretch the defense and then Garnacho has more time and space to receive the ball. That said, I'm not entirely convinced Rashford and Garnacho have the IQ to play in this system at all. It'd be interesting to see a front 3 of Amad, Bruno and Hojlund. Amad is much more suited playing further forward. Ivorian Messi almost won it at the end! And I'm convinced Amorim can turn Hojlund into a 20+ Premier League goal striker. He just needs service cause his finishing is top. Top video once again mate! 👍💯💥
Utd need technically gifted and press-resistant midfielders with a good engine, a pitbull marksman in front, a creative striker and an incisive winger with better crossing and vision than Garnacho. Most of all these players who have survived multiple regimes must go, was surprise how Shaw got fit as soon as Amorim became the coach. Rashford, Shaw, Fernandes, Casemiro, Eriksen, Dalot, must be culled. Without a new core and strategy we can’t change mentality and intensity.
I've been a dalot critic for a while now but i think he could be heading to his originally projected potential. I wouldn't mind him as a backup either side
@@H1toosav We need far more than what he has, i wouldnt mind him in the squad but it needs to be said. The game was an interesting one, but as a manchester united i really feel like our biggest downside is not taking the risky passes to break the defense line , not just now , but even during the days before ten hag, playing safe sucks.

@@joni.sirvio8867because performance had generally improved under ETH, we just weren't scoring. Sunday was awful, but we had players missing and you can see glimpses of what Amorim wants to do. The goal was a great example, he needs time to implement his system
We struggle to pass through their forward line, which meant our wing backs were always sat deep and receiving the ball in a full back position, rather than higher up the pitch. Then they pressed them to death, particularly Dalot. The goal came from finding that pass through to Bruno and Amad being able to receive the ball higher and facing their goal. You can see what he wants us to do with the wing backs
Biggest problem i saw in the game was our defending on crosses, more especially low crosses. The gap between our midfield n backline isnt bad its the fact that no one seems to even react at times once those come in. Also our wide defending on the left was pretty poor imo. First game for Amorim down the hatch, I hope he'll be allowed to properly evaluate the team and get rid of those who aren't good enough. He needs time and patience since he has to pick up the mess Ten Hag left mid season
Amad is not a level above garnacho but, He's multiple level above garnacho. No comparison between the two players Amad is a very good and technical player while garnacho is just a bum.
I think because he scored a few goals for us and he is young, these people think that means he has "great potential". Absolutely BS Lamine Yamal IS potential, that is what potential looks like Amad is light years better than Garnacho and that criminal ETH did not play him till everyone was injured. He should be in prison for that alone.
the main problem i have with the build up is that onana, de ligt, evans and mazraoui were mostly standing too close together for the passes between them to open up space for effective ball progression. that and the natural implication of playing just 2 central midfielders none of whom are considered world class when it comes to press resistance. which led to many quick passes to dalot and amad on many occasions and them being closed down without viable passing outlets from the flanks. this will be a continued issue in the epl because all teams tend to have athletic players who can at least run and close down space. i still think he needs to rethink the use of a back 3 in this league.
Challenge will be Amorim failing to play Casemiro and Ugarte together. That midfield will not work if the two are not playing together. More Analysis will be and all will be wrong and with time Amorim will fail and will be sacked may be if he buys other midfielders.

Not really. His attitude has been just as good as anyone else this season. Just a narrative that everyone pushes. People were literally saying he wasn’t tracking back when he was starting as a centre forward
Lets make the goal scorer the scapegoat and let greedy Garnacho get away with murder. Lets give Zirkzee an excuse who made a couple of hospital passes and that horrendous "shot" attempt moments after coming on. Ignore Eriksen general being awful too. All Rashfords fault for the draw.
