How to wrap a helix/spiral around a barrel?

This can be accomplished by creating a helical surface body and using the "Intersection Curve" command with the barrel body. To create the helical surface body, start by creating the desired helix (pitch and revolutions, or other), and use a single line as the profile in the "Swept Surface" command.
