I enjoyed your video so much since I grow Hoya!💚 I am in the process of transferring all of my Hoya from Pon to Leca. 🤦🏻♀️ From what I can see and heard, transferring my Hoya to Leca should not be a huge shock to my plants. 🤞 Thank you for this video.💚
Nora, when you showed the Wilbur Graves cutting after sitting under the cloche, I had to pick my mouth off the floor. That is incredible!! PS....did you say it was from Ikea? I have stunning cloches!! They are called Aldi press lock bags! 😂
Can I time travel back in time 7 days to when I transitioned a hoya to leca for the first time? I think I did good based on your other videos (and I used a cheap hoya that I had a copy of in case I lose it).
Love the videos as always....I know you and your Alocasias have a love hate relationship, but how hard was it to transition your Alocasias from soil to leca? I have a regal shield that I want to transition from soil to leca but honestly I'm terrified....it's a mature plant and healthy but I'm unsure....I have plenty of cuttings just in case but would you recommend removing all the roots and re-rooting the plant in the long method or just doing the long method for an easier transition? Please help Queen of Leca
I was looking at getting a Hoya, but which would you recommend for someone new to Hoya's? I have stayed away because most Hoyas I see have very small leaves but I would like one with a little bit bigger leaf size like some of the ones I see you worked on in the video. Mrs. Nora what's your thoughts?
Hi, love all your videos. Very informative. ? 4 u, can you use the clonex clone for nutrients for plants that have been in leca for over three years? I have been mixing my own nutrients but it is a long process. Please let me know if I can make my plant life easier by using this solution for nutrients going forward. Thank you for your time.
Thank you. Clonex is a root stimulant and should only be used for a short period of time. Best to use a general hydroponic nutrient long term. There is a great article by the leca addict about why the use of root stimulants is not good for plants. Let me know if you would like the link.
I explain the various scenarios why one would do that in the video. Some people prefer not to have the roots for the reasons I mention. The video is to show that it is a method that works.
I get that. But this was done in the dead of winter in Melbourne so the conditions need to be taken into account. Light and temperature are so important. The idea of the video was the methods, I hope that came across. Thank you for watching.
It’s like you read my mind 🤣 I’ve been watching your older Hoya videos but wasn’t sure which of the methods to use!
I hope you now have some clarity.
This is a lot of great information. I really like that trellis idea. Thank you!
Fascinating that the cutting grew better roots than the one that had the roots trimmed.
I know right1
Nora, thank you so much for this excellent video. Really helps me understand ,my leca journey!❤️
Glad it was helpful!
Hi queen, I really appreciate your videos/tutorials as they show the whole process from beginning to end. Thank you😊
You are so welcome!

🤣🤣🤣 yep ikea, I put the link in the description
This video is so timely! I just got some Hoya Wilbur graves cuttings TODAY 😅
Perfect! So funny and weird!
Thank you so much! I appreciate your videos so much! You have saved so many of my plant babes 💚
You are very welcome.
Great lesson Nora!
Thank you 😊
Wow. That is amazing. I don't have any plants in lecca but I like to watch your videos. Plants are amazing that they are so versatile 😊
Thank you 😊
Wow. Just wow. I’m so glad I watch anything you post. I’m learning so much. But where can I purchase the small clear plastic cups with holes?
You are too kind thank you. I buy normal plant pots and make the holes myself using a soldering iron.
Very helpful! Thanks Leca Queen. I’m going to copy you exactly with my crimson queen
All the best 👍 👌 😍

Great plants. Watch you all the time. Do you ever use PON.
Thank you. I sometimes do use it but not commonly.

@@TheLecaQueen thank you!
So, why take all the roots off before transferring? Or, is this in cases where you are propagating or have to remove the roots for whatever reason?
I explain the various scenarios why one would do that in the video. Some people prefer not to have the roots for the reasons I mention. The video is to show that it is a method that works.
What brand of LECA do you use?
Lots of different kinds, it depends on what is available. What country are you in as it is country dependant as well.,
Can I ask what neutriant
Clonex Clone Solution
No offense meant, but that is fairly unimpressive. Ususally when I root Hoya cuttings it only takes me about a month and a half to get new leaves.
