Newborn Metabolic Screening program expands

The Newborn Metabolic Screening program was expanded this spring and now tests all babies born in Alberta for 21 treatable conditions shortly after birth - up from 17 conditions prior to the expansion. Alberta Public Laboratories representatives talk about what this means for families.
