  • In today's video we're taking a closer look at all of the amazing features the RuggedSplit 700-Series Log Splitter by RuggedMade brings to the table (or to the woodyard for that matter).
From the horizontal “push-through” design that optimizes production, to the hydraulic log lift, the catcher tray, and it's ability to be towed wherever you want to split; we cover it all. The 700-Series is available with multiple engine options and in both 28-Ton and 37-Ton designs.

I hate mine. My troybuilt 33 ton can split knotty rounds much easier. My 737 just doesn’t seem to have much splitting force

What does it make any sense is why wouldn't you put the ramp lift on the same side as the controls? So you have to load a big log on to the lift walk around the machine on the other side lift it up to roll it to you? Then try to split it in half and then if it comes off the table lower it down again walk around the machine and load it back up again? And then split it again? Why not have the lift and the controls on the same side so you can control it all right there? Seems a little back Awards to me.

Mike if you watch from the 3 minute mark, Jared explains how you can configure the splitter to how you like it, including putting the lift on either side. Thanks for the comment!
