Gloria found out her father was right all along even though he was a bigot with a limited education and knowledge of the world around him. Mike became everything Archie despised and a member of those communes that took in impressionable young adults in the 1970’s.
Like so many will realize eventually about all the other morons
Archie wasn't college educated. He was life educated. He grew up in a different time and was forced to quit school to help support his family.
Even thought the show lasted a season I'm glad it fleshed out Gloria's character

@@Mister_ListenerCouldn't disagree more. Burgess Meredith was an acting legend. He wasn't just a quacking penguin and a no-nonsense boxing manager and trainer.

I didn’t know this series existed. I remember them coming on the Archie Bunker’s Place sequel show. Are there any full episodes of this show around anywhere? What happened to Meathead? Did he ‘die’ in the series or were they just divorced? I’m so curious now.
They got divorced. Mike didn't die. if you watched the clip, Joey got a bike that was from his father.
Why did Mike and Gloria divorce?

the thumbs up is for willard, the show Gloria, well, it's nice to see Joe grown up but after all in the family and the Meatheat thing, I just don't want the show Gloria. Maybe this is why it didn't last long but again we didn't get much Bunkers Place either.

I love Carroll O'Connor but after All in the Family they should have stopped while they were on top. Archie Bunker Place and Gloria were boring shows.
