Clearly Jordan learnt the most of their 2019 Asian Cup experience. They saw how Vietnam beat them with a Korean coach, and came to realise that "why don't we use an Arab to coach an Arab team"? Jordan will be fascinating this time around. As always, use the man who are familiar with you the most.

Iraq vs Kuwait is not as easy as everyone thinks because it's considered like a derby and because of the war between 2 countries before. Right now Kuwait government said they will not allow Iraqi fans to enter Kuwait, and the maximum number they might allow is 200 only!! and Iraqi side might complain to Fifa about this and treat Kuwait the same in home match!! Either way, I think Iraq will win, but it will not be easy, and I expect the refree making weird decisions in favor of Kuwait against Iraq.
Basra is really close to Kuwait.. closer to Kuwait than the capital of Iraq Baghdad ... they can train in Basra until the day of the match and go in the morning and come back the next day by bus... that's why we can bring more fans, especially from Basra, but Kuwait is holding for the grudge of Gulf War 2 and wanna use that as psychological weapons against us (not all of them but yeah)

the Jordanian federation was looking at Sallami before they settled for ammouta, both are attack minded managers, to harness the power trio that are shining right now (Musa, Yazan, Ali) this is why I doubt (and hope) there will not be any difference between the two periods, as for the match against Kuwait I really can't see Kuwait doing anything, they really fell out of sight recently, especially after the last match we played against them which ended 3-0 with mercy, Jordan's manager back then was Adnan Hamad, who is known to prefer balanced play, this is why am predicting nothing less than 3 or 4 goals for Jordan
The strange things that Palestine have the top scorer in Egyptian league “Wssam Abou Ali (18 goal during 18 matches) aslo “Oday Dabbagh one of the best strikers in the middle east (they play just one match together but there wasn’t harmony between them) unfortunately our coach lack of experience
To answer your question about Korea scoring a low amount of goals last qualifiers, I think it was due to the nature of the teams, the tactical matchups, and Bento's selections. Every team parked the bus against us apart from Iran & UAE. Also back then, Bento did not call up Lee Kangin at all, so we lacked a lot of creativity. I feel much better about our attack now. Obviously defense still a little worrying.

I am Korean and I really don't like Chung Mong-gyu in charge. The Hyundai dynasty, which run our KFA for decades, has turned our football potential into a dynastic property. Our team has not had a new training compound, and we only hired Hong Myung-bo because there is no other good option. Meanwhile, Kim Min-jae is increasingly sidelined by Bayern Munich due to conflict with Vincent Kompany and previously Thomas Tuchel; Hwang Hee-chan has just played only one game fully 90 minutes with Wolves this season; Cho Gue-sung is not at his best form; Hwang Ui-jo was excluded by Nottingham because of personal scandal; Jeong Woo-yeong is struggling to establish himself with Union Berlin. Except for Lee Kang-in and Son Heung-min, our team is not in the best shape, which made me worry about our prospect. We need some changes quickly, Palestine may offer chances but I am not sure of Oman.

South Korea has shown great level of fragility this time around. I fear that they will have a difficult level of competition given their dependence on Son Heung-min and Lee Kang-in in a sport where teamwork is often prioritised. China and Thailand had made South Korea already hard enough at home.
Iraq, in my opinion, will have a big challenge with Jordan and Oman ahead. Especially Jordan, given the bitter Asian Cup meeting between the two. And they are so familiar to each other as well.
Kuwait, now a weakened team, will have a hard time ahead, they have been just the shadow of their past prestige. It's hard for them this time around. Palestine doesn't even have a chance either.

Its also the result of actual analysis being done on a different level. Back in Asian cup nobody gave a rats ass about jordan until deep into the tournament. Which is why your logic makes sense.
@@HadesBC I dont believe in luck in football, but sometimes matches/tournaments make me reconsider that. Prior to Asian cup Jordan lost 7 out of 9 mathces, one of them being 1-6 to Japan.
Then they had relative easy group in Asian cup in which they won 1 match which made them get through to meet Iraq, which dominated the match and had 80% possesion prior to the 2-1 goal then came the red card which saved them. Of course Iraq should have done better but the relative young squad could not handle the outcome. After that they met an easy Tajikistan which scored an own goal and suddenly they saw themselves in the semifinal facing the possible worst South Korean team which had brawl betwen their players prior to the game. If that is not luck I dont know what is is, but again this qualifiers will show the quality of each team.
I think Jordan is a really good team and they beat Saudi in Saudi a month ago after AFC
Im wishing this group will end up with Iraq topping and then Oman, Palestine, Kuwait, Jordan and South Korea last but that’s obviously not relastic so I think it will be South Korea first then Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Oman and Kuwait last. Also I’m so happy that we will finally play at home cause we Iraqis go crazy about football especially for our national team and our stadiums are finally seeing justice in the world cup qualifiers 🇮🇶👏

The competition will be between Korea, Iraq and Jordan, the best teams in this group.
Korean team got an upgrade since the Asian cup during the transfer window. Lot of European moves and promotions. This is not even the same team as Asian Cup . We have more pieces now and are deeper. We have 2 more CBs in Europe. Kim Ji-Soo from Brentford didn't even get called up. Neither did Bae Jun Ho as he is nursing an injury.
13 goals is about to get smashed this time around. Im predicting 20+ ,maybe 26. Lee Kang in is on another level and is better than Son now I believe.

You’re the only guy who’s speaking the truth about Palestine football. They keep getting praised for making it to the round of 16 in Asian cup (deserved btw) but they litterally got through by the skin of their teeth and there’s no way they finish above Oman and Jordan

I am Moroccan and I love Asian football is entertaining even they are poor physically but still good to watch have goals at least in every single game. Don’t be so focus on the point of changing the manager of Jordan national team they will still good Moroccan managers are just underrated. It has now been discovered that Kuwait has fielded 3 stateless Bedouin players without Kuwaiti passport in WCQ R2 vs Afghanistan, India & Qatar meaning they have fielded INELIGIBLE players, cheating their way to WCQ R3, these 3 players have now been barred by AFC from playing Jordan today, unfortunately I don't think AFC/FIFA are gonna do anything else despite punishing Equatorial Guinea/East Timor in the past for the same offence.
Just remember that the reason Afghanistan missed out on WCQ R3 was because of a stupid player boycott & because Kuwait cheated us.

Kuwait is a much different team while playing Arabic Countries and anything can happen I’m not saying that they will get automatic qualification but they definitely have a chance for 4th place, but a little respect on the team and the players, this is the first Arab Asian team to play in the World Cup and the first Arabic team to win the Asian Cup, a little bit of respect you have no idea what the Kuwaiti players have been through and they will definitely prove people like you wrong.
