More TNA coming soon. AJ's run here was super important as it connected with his next couple of years. It's unfortunate that the relationship with TNA ended as it did, but Styles went on to do much greater things. What did you think of Lone Wolf AJ Styles?
I'm not familiar with AJ styles TNA run so this is good video to educate me about some of it
Jeff hardy Charismatic Engima run in Tna was amazing you should make a videos on that
That was his best character work.
Aj is phenomenal in every single company the best wrestler of this generation in my opinion great video like always
Lone wolf rivalry baron corbin v styles
That transition from Evil Ways to Get Ready to Fly is probably my favorite TNA moment ever. Absolutely loved this run for AJ.
So iconic. It's one of those moments that can't be explained.
couldn’t agree more
I can never forget screaming in my house when get ready to fly came back and he took his hood off to join the 10 man tag match. An iconic TNA moment for me
That still gives me chills. I wish he could bring GRTF back
Is there a video of this transition
AJ Styles is one of the greatest professional wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots.
I personally like this run of AJ Styles in TNA. He played the Lone Wolf character pretty well. It's kinda crazy to think that this was at the twilight of his TNA run before he finally left the company.
5:36 The Phenomenal Walkout, That’s Fucking Clever Bruh 😫🫡😂
The best version of AJ Styles. The genesis of what was to come, after TNA in 2014. To ROH & NJPW in 2015, to WWE in 2016. TNA's GOAT!
The "Phenomenal One" nickname perfectly fits AJ Styles. He's the guy that got me back into the WWE post-Pipebomb as I just didn't bother watching wrestling after that, but I watched his run on TNA and then comes his Royal Rumble debut at #2 which was just....Ahhhh man how dope that was to witness live. His matches with Finn Balor are some of my favorites in this modern era of wrestling, and knowing he's going to retire when his current contract is up is bittersweet but man did this guy have a hell of a career.
he debuted at 3 not 2
@@JarlinJamesNDK13 no 1 and 2 are both technically #1 . Although WWE doesn't officially recognize it that way and i say that's stupid bs
@@smolgrizzly4608 it is not. There are 30 contestants. Its basic math
@@JarlinJamesNDK13 #1 and #2 start the match at the same time. They would both have to last the same amount of time in order to win and none of them have any advantage over the other.
So saying that "Shawn Michaels won the royal rumble at #1 position" and " Rey Mysterio won at #2" takes away some of the credit as face value
@@JarlinJamesNDK13 the number of contestants are indeed 30. But the number of position you can start from is 29 because 1 and 2 are the basically the same thing.
This led to AJ being one of the best Modern-day IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
P.S. his NJPW theme is a banger
Aj Styles was at his best in 2013 at TNA. The lone wolf gimmick was peak Styles along with his 2016 heel run in WWE.
TNA booked him like a million bucks in his final match, it took 12 people to defeat him that is an awesome sendoff
This man should be wwe champion again imo. he is one of the best to ever lace a pair of boots. And I hope WWE will push him again.
This was my personal favorite AJ gimmick, it was different from his usual high flying ways. He was darker, more intense, and dressed in black as opposed to his colorful attire. I just wish it lasted a little longer cause I feel like it could've gone farther imo
finally bro
i really remember aj style 's lone wolf run the best time
Honestly I really enjoyed this run. Long term storytelling and still get goosebumps when Styles came out and his music charged from Evil Ways to Get Ready to Fly. Such an iconic moment in both TNA and AJ Styles history. One of my personal favorite moments to take place in the company
Prolly his best gimmick besides his 2016 heel run.
Bullet club leader was his best run 🏃♂️
AJ is was & will always be the Heart & soul of TNA if we don't have AJ Styles we don't Have TNA
So this was the AJ styles being the anti hero anime character arc cool
Oh man. AJ Styles truly is one of the greatest wrestlers to ever exist. While I’m not a fan of TNA/Impact compared to others, and am more familiar with his WWE career, I still respect him for all the cool stuff he’s done for the world of pro wrestling. He truly is phenomenal.👍
AJ was sort of going through a dark Sting phase. He was lost, quite and even more dangerous but also moving alone.
This angle was crucial to AJ's career. This was unquestionably the best character work of his career (up to this point) and his much maligned promo skills (and rightfully so) DRASTICALLY improved, which in hindsight is probably at least partially attributed to the fact that he stopped speaking for a while, a la Sting circa '96-'97, so when he finally did speak, it meant much more. There was one spot where James Storm (I think) confronted him, and AJ nailed him with a Pelé kick, and his hood (which was off) came on perfectly. That was awesome.
I feel like Styles should be on a mount Rushmore for greatest Impact Wrestling/TNA wrestlers. He's such a phenomenal talent yes that was intended, without him Impact Wrestling probably wouldn't have been as popular as it was during his time there
He IS the Cornerstone of TNA. He’s the first person you should think of when you hear TNA
same lol. to be honest after his recent appearance in the company im happy theyre on decent terms. at the end tna made aj a big and legendary star for the company!
AJ Styles final year in tna underrated phenomenal matches
The Phenomenal AJ Styles 🔥
His finisher the phenomenal walkout 😭😭😭😭😭
The most protected move in wrestling history!!! Not even brock lesnar or undertaker or john cena can kick out😂
Aj styles will always be the greatest of all time in my mind and his triple threat match with samoa joe and Christopher daniels as the best match ever 😎🤟🙏
This storyline gave me one the best Aj styles moments when he shows back up to help the main event mafia🔥🔥
It felt like this was TNA's version of when Sting changed into the crow.
Aj is just a f'n awesome athlete still to this day, and I loved his lone wolf gimmick. He character was dark, he didn't really talk, his in ring style had become more aggressive and he just whooped ass
You should do a part 2 and do from his time in ROH & NJPW till he was in the rumble
Aj Styles went from looking like troubled youth, to a emo phase, to looking like a mother of troubled youth.
Just wait till you see his final form
This is my favorite AJ styles gimmick this lead the way for his WWE title run and heel run in wwe
greatest “in-ring” performer ever! 🐐 truly phenomenal 💙
Yes him or HBK you can switch either of them to 1A and 1B and most people would be fine with it
@@chocolatedaddy2094 Kurt Angle?
@@chocolatedaddy2094 💯
I Have Always Liked his Loner Gimmick he should bring it back one day in a Different Adaptation’s
This is one of my favorite AJ Styles characters ever the Evil Ways theme is a banger
My favorite version of AJ
Love your work man 💪🏻💪🏻
Tomko & Prince Aj styles. 🔥🔥🔥
This is arguable the BEST RUN OF AJ STYLES'S CAREER.
(Besides when he led Bullet Club)
AJ is the only wrestler I know that wants to be a Babyface instead of an heel
Finally the goat is back to...... RUclips
Aj styles the greatest of this generation im just saying aj over kenny
I always thought he looked his most badass coming out to evil ways . I’d like if just one time before he retires soon he brings back that hair cut and persona. Right now he’s just there. Had a great run in wwe but they’re wasting his final years in my opinion
All we need is wwe to acknowledge his accomplishments like how they did Mickey James
TNA back then was my go to with Beer Money and the Aces&Eight this was so good. This version of AJ made me stick around longer
Keep up the great work bro, always coming with quality content 💪
AJ styles run was awesome the best run of his career
Oh man TNA was on fire in 2012-13 could have been as big as WWE but that potential went down hill fast in 2014
Cant wait for the Lashley TNA run. Loved Lashley as walking Armageddon
Can we appreciate that tna championship what a beauty
After AJ left I kinda stopped watching TNA and AJ was the reason I checked out the independent wrestling scene you should do a video of his time in Bullet Club
When AJ left was when I stopped watching tna
Can you drop a video covering nxt 2.0??
Great video btw I can sit and listen all day 💯
The lone wolf? Ah yes, Baron Corbin...
AJ during this time basically played the same role that Sting played in the NWO Angle in WCW. Sting was the biggest star WCW had ever created. He stayed quiet and inactive during the 1st year of the NWO’s existence. And eventually he was the main one who led WCW in the war with the NWO. And at WCW’s biggest show of the year, Starrcade 1997, he dethroned Hollywood Hogan for the WCW World Championship. AJ was the biggest star TNA had ever created. When Aces and Eights ran took over the company, AJ stayed away from all the drama like Sting did. And eventually he became the old AJ again and at Bound For Glory 2013, he dethroned Bully Ray for the TNA World Championship.
I thought aj was gonna join aces and 8s as a kid and god did I love aces and 8s
Been waiting for this bro
Great childhood memories.
I loved dark aj i just loved this kind of character
Glad to see anyone tna video
AJ is My Still My Man! I know WWE doesnt always use him the best, But AJ is still Hands down one of, If not the Best Wrestler in the World! Bullet Club AJ was also just So Hard/Dope!
You should cover the Triple H, Kurt Angle, and Stephanie McMahon storyline from 2000
I got that in mind.
You could Tell this was the end TNA.. but I was happy he left and went to Japan and ROH! That was the best version 2014-16 is peak Styles
When AJ left TNA I left but came back regularly to watch the product
Agree it's the same basic storyline of punks but had enough differences to make it different and AJ is a better wrestler than Punk
Love this. You gotta do a vid on Bubba/Bully Ray. Either his career or just his TNA run.
Grew up on 2000s TNA rather than WWF/WWE, so for me this was the most heartbreaking departure in 21st Century wrestling history.
Tna content!!!!! Could u do beat down clan next
and unsurprisingly wwe made their own version of the aj scandal with aj lee
“Resiliency of 2019 Roman Reigns and 2007 John Cena” you got it right on the dot with that statement😂
AJ Styles was their chose to be the Top Babyface and they screwed it over. It have potential and he's over with a new look.
Let’s go
Aj Styles is Hands down A first Ballad Hall of FAMER
That's how I am with my mother, I may hate my job,but I got a mom to feed and if my job is cutting me,then I'm walking. Basically I support Styles for doing what he did,he deserved better.
You should do Jeff Hardy or the ace & eight video
As a dude who didn't watch TNA at the time, this was interesting!! Reckon we'll get a couple of videos of his time in NJPW??? Good work as always! 👍🏽
Aj styles og tna themes are always bangers
The best wrestler in the world for at least close to a decade.
He had the best run of his career is phenomenal run with awesome the best phenomenal run all time because AJ styles is phenomenal the best wrestler of all time I love AJ styles he is awesome because AJ styles is the best wrestler of all time
Can you do the many men who were behind the mask of TNA SU*C1DE CHARACTER
Bro make video on TNA vs impact wrestling
Which one is best
AJ>HBK as pure in ring talent
Yeah but charisma and promos HBK>AJ. Shawn would tear him up in a promo battle.

Loved This heel run Of AJ
The Fact AJ Styles is not in the TNA hall of fame yet is mind boggling to me he carried that crap ass company I bet there denying him of how he left bro u gave em a paycut ur own damn fault get that man in the HOF already
The best aj styles
When AJ came back to the aces and 8’s era I was like 12. I was watching TNA during this time. Abs I remember this storyline. But I never realized that it was AJ. Crazy
They should do this with John Cena when he turns heel but modify it of course so it isn't a cheap version of this run.
like Cena should have a faction like Damien Priest, T ba,r Rea Ripley, Kevin Owens, R Truth, etc call it Cena foundation or the Menace society or something.
AJ Styles is the pillar of TNA and without him, TNA would be bought out I mean tony owns TNA I guess.
I want this aj styles NOW
Prime AJ Styles my all time favorite gimmick
They should push him in wwe again
I want to see one last title run for him.
14:45 LMFAO
YESSSSIR
woah aj with short hair and another hairstyle woah
He is my world 💜
Aj styles leave TNA was the real nail in the coffin and Tna ratings went from 1 million to 0 million
The best beautiful real AJ styles need easy styles is phenomenal the best wrestler of all time a usual was awesome the best one
Was AJ considered one of the best in the world while he was in TNA? I wasn’t watching wrestling back then so I wonder what the wrestling community thought about him at the time.
By a long mile. He was TNA’s cornerstone ever since Day 1, yet he left on bad terms which was a pity
@@jkdeclaro He was actually open to negotiate with TNA but they were cutting his salary by half so he said fuck it, let's go somewhere else.
@@jkdeclaro nah he was going to come back in 2016
I loved his evil ways get ready to fly theme konda wish he could use it in wwe also are you covering his wwe run?
Aj styles is a legend
This is when Aj became my favorite wrestler
