I don't think there's too much going on. Yes, the colors are bright, both the red and the yellow, but they match interestingly. The lilies with not outline work well with the dragons. I like the setup.
The dragon 🐉 is giving Mushu from Mulan! I loved this theme! I do see what you were saying abt that one page/spread where you feel you should've just outlined it in color VS coloring it all in. But it still looks wonderful!

Hi I’m using Muji Gel pens for the outlines, tombow dual brush pens for the colouring in, Ferris wheel press ink for the underbelly (VERO for 10% off with Ferris wheel press), Pentel brush sign pens for some shading :)
