Susan and Katherine were best friends in real life and they were a core twosome bantering(who really deep inside loved one another😉) important women character's of B&B since 1987. It made perfect sense to me as a viewer.

I wishBrooke could have lightened up during this, but I do understand that a woman is dying and her children deserved to know! I mean she was really just thinking about Caroline and how Ridge needed to know the truth so they could prepare. She has a point that they need to know, but she should have let Stephanie have her last birthday on her own terms! It was a difficult situation. I see both sides.
Brooke is clearly worried. Csnt please talk at all if Brooke was jumping up and down saying Stephanie is dying she would b the devil but she shows worry and cares and it’s Brooke mind your business.
