I love this guy, trading with half a million and consistently making gains on the equity curve is not a joke. 5% a month compounded annually is 79% which is kinda great, 500K becomes 897K. I think 400K a year is where I want to be :)

I imagine $40k/month or 10% on $400k account so $480k/year but assume 50% tax so just $240k/year. How do people take it to the next level from there?

The trader said he is targeting 15 million in the next 5 years, that is 3 million each year, can you FTMO reinterview him where is he at the target since almost one year went by. he really inspired me to work my butt of and push my self to the limits.

Patience and Discipline is KEY - I believe I have it, but needs refining work in progress. Grew $17 to almost $400 with an almost 3 day time-frame. Then decided to take it on serious with a $100 account and grew it to almost $400 in less than 2 days - hours and hours of trusting your strategy and some went over the next day+ - trusting your analysis and letting it play out requires a lot of emotional control. Imagine if I had that amount of money, I wonder how much I would have with the same moves I did with the $17 or $100 account. Looking forward to join FTMO very soon
itching to wrap up my challenge tonight or Monday so i can foresee myself forcing some trades and tilting. it usually happens from switching some pairs, doing quick analysis, and hopping in a trade without double checking the size and risk i'm taking. my stop will end up being too wide and if i let it ride and i'm wrong i end up with a big loss and am tilted. i'm new to forex and hopefully become more familiar with the loss i'll be taking per tick based on the size i take without using a calculator but i am a slow learner.
i finally switched companies and am trying to get funded w/ FTMO. the previous company was subscription based and the terms were not good.. more like a subscription farm. Its hard to believe FTMO offers such generous terms.

Hi Peter, I was greatly inspired by this interview. You asked all the right questions. However, though not too important, a lot of traders would have loved to know his experience(s) pre FTMO, his journey before finally arriving at FTMO, also i would love to ask, what his account size was initially at the begining (Challenge & Verification) before he reached $500,000, and how long it took him to get to that target... Meanwhile, well done. His success is inspiring to a lot of us.

Just bought an account for 10k. Halfway to my profit target on my challenge
This video is bar for bar, 2-4% is my goal for the next 7 years
Just crunching the numbers. On 26th of November trading matrix 20 trades. 1 loss and 19 wins using 0.50 lots per trade making $1,950.25 +- 5% calculation error due to blurred screen Is a good performance. It must be scalping trades and what a result in all fairness. Wish him all the very best for the future. If it were me I would have 19 losing trades and 1 winner.

@@awleksadr5898 you are definitely correct 💯. That's why I said what I said. Most people won't realize because they can't see or understand what's right in front of them. Most real traders keep the good information to themselves and put out basic information.
It possibly shows London being traded more due the numerus scale out/in trades. It's just a stat for that one month also.

I think he got it backwards at 20:00. As traders, anticipation can lead into assumption which will get you killed in trading. Participating is wiser and more beneficial as you’re participating in whatever the market is doing instead of trying to predict where the markets are going. As retail traders, we must find the advantage, but before we do so, we must ensure that we haven’t lost before we’ve even begun in a short or long position. Always participate, never anticipate. Something may be working for this trader, but will it last doing it that way?
No what he said was right. It was a anticipation that make good earning. Participation is the ez way. He is like a sniper he anticipat the move and make the trade. Then he manage the trade. If he is wrong he get out the market with a small loss. He even use the timing element. If you time the market well then you know when you are wrong so you can get out quick.

does overall drawdown reset at any time whether in the evaluation phase or when trading funded account or it just accumilates ?

The Max Loss Trading Objective is still the same and it is not depending on the phase of the evaluation that you are at. The equity of the trading account must not, at any moment during the account duration, decline below 90% (or 80% with the FTMO Account type Aggressive) of the initial account balance.

What they really mean is how to trade a 50k account. Always remember the maximum amount you can loose is your capital. Never forget that

Volume in FX is not more beneficial. Its decentralized. Volume means nothing. Use it in futures instead for the major

If ur able to manage ur account for long enough they will add more funds for u to trade
400k in $ is max with challenges, then there is scale up plan 25% every 4 months if you are profitable
Get two 200k accounts to funded stage. Merge them to 400k which is the max allocation. Then after 4 months and scaling up, you will get to 500k

No...He had 400K. But, he was scaled and get 25% after 4 months. Now he has 500K
