The Silk Road series is my most favorite series in the Food Ranger. Xinjiang's culinary delicacies, especially those of the Uyghurs, look absolutely delicious (看起来很好吃的!). I've never tried them before, but just looking at the dishes and culinary specialities makes my mouth water. I admire Trevor James' willingness and curiosity to explore new places, meet new people, and try new foods! I especially admire him for showing us regions in China that are culturally unique from the societies and lands of the mainstream Han Chinese that we all normally know when we think of China. Trevor shows us a perspective of China that we never knew existed. Though I've known China to have 56 different ethnic groups, and Xinjiang to be the homeland of the Uyghurs (And numerous other indigenous peoples which include the Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Kyrgyz, Russians, Tajiks, Mongols, Daurs, Hui, Xibe, and Tatars), this is still something I don't see everyday! This man is an inspiration and role model for (Chinese) cultural and food enthusiasts! He's the epitome of an adventurous and open-minded person! 太好了! 从美国的问候! 😁🇨🇳🇺🇸👍
Xinjiang is also home to other Turkic speaking Chinese minorities like Kazakhs, Kirghiz, Uzbeks and Tatars. You also have Tajiks, an Indo-European people related to Iranians, Afghans and South Asians (Pakistanis, Indians and Bengalis), Russians, Tibetans, Mongolians and Hui (Chinese-speaking Han)
世坚 so if they are chinese like u why are u persecuting them and putting them in chinazi style concentration camps to « teach them how to live like a chinese »? Here is just the proof u are a liar like all chinese troll
Speaking Chinese so well you provoke the understanding that you value and enjoy what they have to offer. And you do value and enjoy what they have to offer and in a sincere and honest manner. Hats off to you, Trev. You sure score some great street food.

I have to say that this Xinjiang series has blown Mark Weins' Philippines series out of the water! One of the best food travel series in RUclips ever. Trevor James has earned everyone's respect as top tier food RUclipsr no doubt about that. I have never seen any food traveller be it on youtube or tv that has visited this gem of a place. Absolutely brilliant work Trevor and partner!
Regina Lao Yeah I actually have watched all of his video haha. The Oman series was magnificent especially when he visited the treasury building in Petra. He was invited by Oman tourism board I think. The thing about Mark Weins is that he has large network that can land him great travel arrangements. Whereas Trevor and his gf probably travel using their own pocket money. Hehe

I think all people. China does not have a national problem. In addition, this is not Muslim culture. This is Chinese culture. Lanzhou Ramen in the mouth of the Muslims also learn from the Han. Do not think this is Muslim culture. This is a culture that Muslim communities in the chinese northwestern part of China learn from Han.Do not understand the mistake. This is Chinese culture. The food culture that these places in Xinjiang learned from the Hans in ancient China. This is China's Han food culture. Chinese Muslims Learn from Chinese Han. So, learn more and then publish this remarks. In China. The publication of national cultural remarks requires knowledge.Every Ethnic has confidence. But it does not mean chaos understanding of culture
HAHAHAHA!!!!Really? Noodle is a Uighur culture? Big joke! Do not know more knowledge to learn. Uighur ancestry is huí hú. Mainly in Xinjiang, in addition to Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Mongolia and some parts of Central Asia also have diaspora. remember. huí hú is not a Muslim. Basically, many Chinese minorities have a lot of culture to learn from Han . There may be some food culture itself. However, most dishes are learned from Han. Self-confidence is one thing. Obviously learned from the Han. But it is not considered to be learning. What is the difference between such people and Koreans? Moreover, Xinjiang Uighurs are Chinese.Think Xinjiang is not China? You go to Xinjiang to say this . Will be kick in the street. It was also kicked by Uyghurs in the streets in Xinjiang.Do not understand the people of Xinjiang do not say such words.
I want to thank you Trevor for all the amazing images and videos you provide. It's truly Inspiring and you make it seem so effortless the videos you help shoot .

I am personally from Xinjiang and I can’t believe food ranger actually been there thank you for your journey that more and more people get to know about Uyghur
Amir Rockett I agree
But Mark Wien's series on Bhutan and Oman are fantastic, you should check it out.
Can't wait to see what Trevor's up to next.
Mark Weins isn't even close to Trevor James. He's be lucky to carry his chopsticks
Hehe
It's not a competition
Big Love and Blessing from Tokyo, Japan to these such beautiful cultures!! Thank you for your sharing.

I'm pretty sure you need to update your definition of "hostile behaviour". And that man @ 15:18 was anything but. He was trying to embrace Trevor. That maybe considered a little too friendly for the average westerners. But terming the man and his action hostile is a bit idiotic.

There are 20 million Muslims and 35000 mosques in China... Stop reading biased newspapers, especially anglosaxon ones. Those English (American, UK, Australian) newspapers like to exaggerate the situation.

Uyghur Muslim culture is great
I think all people. But it does not mean chaos understanding of culture
small school Bigschool this is uyghur culture not Chinese or Muslim culture has nothing to do with religion.
