When David is not running an advertising and marketing company, his hobby is The Bond Experience which is primarily a video blog where he discusses Bond experiences and the people and brands that help to create those experiences...
The mantra of living like Bond, one moment at a time emanates from a concept of experiencing the joy of collecting small moments in life that add up to amazing journeys and stories....whether it's through style, locations, literature, fitness, and the movies themselves the world of Bond is explored through its people and their stories.
Ultimately though, The Bond Experience channel is a celebration of the James Bond franchise and the many people that form a true community. Our core mission is to create a strong connection in the Bond community amongst all the fans, regardless of interest or demographic.

I’ve been wearing an Omega watch for years because of Bond. Can’t believe this woman is singlehandedly responsible for that being the official 007 watch. What a legend!
56:49 David's face when Lindy casually mentions the brand David has been searching for for nearly two decades :')
Lol I've been hunting for this shirt for years, she has all the answers lol
So damn true!!!! LOL!
From a collectors perspective that might be huge, but other than that it's no big deal.
Massimo Dutti is made in China and therefore not something that the real James Bond would ever wear.
Funnily enough, I bought a massimo dutti shirt in TK Maxx (TJ Maxx to our brothers in Langley) . So instinctively after watching this video I compared the shirt to the magnoli replica of the polo. The blue is pretty much identical. Shame we’re 15 years too late to track down the originals. Having said that, this is an incredibly insightful video, entertaining from start to finish
@@jr8612 I have a couple of massimo dutti jackets from TK Maxx, surprisingly good quality for £30 a pop. Sleeves are always too long though, can't have everything.
Definitely looking forward to this. Lindy's work on the Bond movies is underappreciated. She did a terrific job on GE through CR.
She is a sartorial rock star!
@@TheBondExperience No doubt!
She had a great senze of sprezzatura which her successors lack.
What a brilliant watch this was. To hear the insights of one of the best costume designers out there and to hear her talking about her fantastic work on Bond was such a delight.
All the years i've been watching the TBE, David this is my favourite video, so so great, Lindy and her work is amazing, and some of my favourite outfits of Bond
I'm not sure if I have a favourite video, there have been so that which I have enjoyed but you're right, I really loved this one.
You are a total hero for making this happen. I would have personally loved to see more discussion on Craig’s Brioni suits… but the fact this happened alone is something of a miracle. Thank you for all this!
I think we will definitely speak to each film in the future!
One of the most humble, warm, creative and talented Costume Designers I had the pleasure of working with. Incredibly sharing of her knowledge.
Incredible ,humble fascinating ,creative ,easy going person. Legend
This woman is an artist, Ive been orienting my fashion sense by her compositions for many years
Wow! This was super interesting and fun! What a lovely person Lindy is!
Tanner!? 🤣 Jack Wade.
All jokes aside, this interview was spectacular and thank you for sharing with us!
What an amazing woman and career Lyndy has had, great interview and insight .
David, you completely out did yourself with this one. It was great. She seems very willing, you have to get her on for a part two, or three.
What a superb interview, Lindy is absolutely lovely. So very entertaining. And, as others have said, your face when the shirt was casually identified. Hilarious. Let us know if it comes your way.
56:21 David’s reaction when she says she had the shirt in her house LMAO
What an incredible interview! This is up there as one of my favorites! Thank you David for your great work. Lindy is just amazing and so talented.
One of the most fascinating interviews I have ever listened to. Thank you Mr. Zaritsky and Mrs.Hemming
What a delightful interview! Amazing stories!
Fantastic interview.
Q gave Bond his gadgets, but Lindy Hemming provided 007 his armour.
Brilliant, brilliant interview. Thank you so much David! This is the kind of thing you never see and it is fascinating to fans. So informative and I think Lindy enjoyed it too. It's great to shine a light on the work of such talented people whose work so often goes unsung.
(When she spoke about the Venice shirt I found myself literally holding my breath! Lol)
This was absolutely fascinating David, thank you!.
Great interview. Shame Lindy left the franchaise as Bond's suits have been way to tight in the last two fims. Amazing how the button didn't pop off when he landed on the sofa in the opening sequence of Spectre
Very special to get a one-to-one with this lady of the wardrobe who has been integral to so many Bonds. This should be shown in fashion schools
Incredible interview, So so inspired by Lindy’s work!! Can’t wait for part 2!!
Superb. Compulsive viewing. Looking forward to Part 2 !
Excellent, my favourite outfits discussed and revealed. 10/10
Great stuff David. So insightful from Lindy👍
really interesting video, cheers ive been looking foreward for this. Thank you for your content
Fantastic insight, I learned so much about the world of a costume design. Also never knew Lindy brought in the Omega watches, WOW. She’s a wonderful story-teller!
Talented lady. Thanks!!!
Great interview David! Probably one of thé people you had to get on to speak about clothing! Even for me, who isn't necessarily into the clothing of Bond persé found it interesting to hear Lindy talk. Interesting to see how interested she is in the haircuts each time too! Also P.S 22:24 it's of course CIA Agent Jack Wade, not Tanner! Just a minor slip up! Happens to all of us! Speak to you soon my friend, all the best!
Yeah, corrected it later but damn, almost had to give up my fan card for that one.
Great interview
Incredible content David
Keep it up
What a fantastic guest!
This has to be one of the most revealing, insightful and enjoyable interviews showcasing what it’s like working and living in the Bond universe. Bravo 👏
Ah, thanks so much....she was a joy to speak with...
Fascinating ❤
Lindy is superb! She also designed Heath Ledgers Joker also, what a legend!!
She is a legend indeed!
This is terrific.
Excellent interview!!
This is fantastic!!!!
This was Really Special!!!
She is such a delight.
Just wow!
Hey David I saw you in This Morning! Well done ✈️🇬🇧
I thought that Brioni was a nod to the more international Bond and looked spectacular on PB. And while I Iove DC, his suits sometimes look like he's got a parachute or other gear on underneath his Tom Fords.
Need to get this lady back on the next bond film
Lindy Legend!
Love the tuxedo from Tomorrow Never Dies. The fact that it has a waistcoat is awesome!
This was great! Loved all the behind the scenes stories and the explanation behind the switch to Omega.
This was a great interview, Lindy was an excellent guest so full of information about the movies and supporting them from the aspect of clothing the actors.
What a cool, insightful interview! Loved learning how so many items and relationships with various companies came to be! So interesting how she basically had to take some things she wanted (blue dial Seamaster for example) and then attempt to pitch it and win the others over! Really hope you bring her back again! Thanks for this great video!
What a rare treat. The hour just zoomed by so quickly. Thank you David.Looking forward to part 2 whenever that happens.
Great interview coup David! Has the flared bootcut beige trousers ever been identified from CR, when Craig is wearing the now infamous Sunspel Riviera polo?
Absolutely awesome. Congratulations on this !
Amazing, every anecdote from Lindy is pure gold, please have Lindy back!!!!
Love her so much & I’ve technically been dressed by her before as well (albeit someone from her department).
That still counts! And it's way more than the rest of us can say...
I David, this was an incredible interview, Lindy is amazing and passionate about her work, we would love to see another interview with her about facts and Easter eggs from that time. Cheers
Brilliant video, thank you both!
This was a wonderful episode showing a peak behind the scenes of the series. Great interview, David.
Thanks so much!
Always thought Peirce had the Bruce Wayne look to his Bond
Superhero Playboy with Union Jack Boxer Shirts hidden underneath 😁
Great point!
Pierce was in consideration to play Bruce Wayne in Tim Burton's Batman.
Such a delightful interview. Never felt like an hour.
So Bond26 should have her back along with Martin Campbell & David Arnold #dreamteam4cavillbond 😅
That was one of the best Bond Experience videos of all!
The military waistcoat Bond wears at the climax of Goldeneye was made in a factory in Leicester by a very talented tailor called Kanti. He was a good friend of mine and I have to confess he let me try it on when it was nearly complete. Brosnan sent him a very nice signed photo and message after completing the shoot. I always get a buzz when I see the scene!!
Loved this. Thank you very much both 👍
I look forward to follow up videos with the CR Venice (Massimo Dutti) Polo and the Angelo Litrico TND Vietnam shirt.
Home Run - great get.
LOVED THIS! What a coup to get her to come on! As you say, the BTS stories are pure gold! And yes, you MUST get her husband’s shirt and send it to Magnoli or Royale Filmwear so one of them could work their magic for an updated reproduction! Keep up the great work and can’t wait for part 2! Salute! 🍸
This was absolutely amazing!!!!🍸
What an excellent personality. She gave a marvellous insight into the worlds of fashion, film and 007 all with the right approach; making bond beautiful
You must get Lindy back! Your chat was so engaging. And your face when she mentioned Massimo Dutti was priceless.
Your channel introduced me to the Bond sartorial heritage so thank you (I’m sure T&A, Sunspel, OB and Omega will thank you too 😂)
I have always wondered if Bond is aware of the clothes & brands he’s wearing (apart from the product placements, which he acknowledges).
It’s probably stupid, but I would love to see a scene of Bond shopping or visiting his tailor.
Edit: not like Kingsman obviously, but something subtler & less gaudy.
Really fascinating. Thank you.
What a wonderful woman.
This woman has cost me an incredible amount of money due to the Omega watches I've purchased over the years. 🙂 I'm writing this while wearing the Omega Bond OG watch - the 2541.80 "GoldenEye" Seamaster Professional 300m.
Great interview David!!
A highlight in the Bond Experience canon - great interview. Lindy wonderfully engaging and has great stories
I could have listened to her all day.
Literally just bought the Massimo Dutti polo as soon as she mentioned it. They still have the same one for only £40; seems to be the exact same as the movie with the same stitching etc.
Thank you for this!!!!!
Looking forward to possibly getting MD blue polo if they are remade!
On it!
I loved this! It was amazing to hear the origin of Omega with Bond.
ruclips.net/video/sN1-ex9G_JU/видео.html
Wow this was amazing!
Thank you!
That was unbelievable!!!!
Many thanks!
Fantastic Interview!!
Amazing David. Thanks for organizing this. Bought a Massimo long sleeve polo which looks just like the one from the film.. £20 in the sale!
40:41 that turtle neck sweater is from Ballantyne Scotland.
Do we know where the white short sleeve comes from?
Wonderful lady with great taste and perhaps the best costume designer of them all. Hope she will come back for the new Bond.
56:29. Mic drop 🎤😂
David, when Lindy revealed that Massimo Dutti was behind the Venice polo, did you hear a heavenly choir?
Wow what an amazing video! I am a huge fan of Lindy Hemming's work on the Dark Knight trilogy, Wonder Woman and indeed Bond. I wish they'd bring her back! Love it how she completely erased from her mind that it was Lee Tamahori and not Martin Campbell who did Die Another Day :D
How do you get these guests???
Anybody else scouring the web for Massimo Dutti? Great video.
David can you make our own Bond world . I reckon Eon must hire you. You're really doing incredible job
😎😎😎🙏
Pierce Brosnan is the best Jame Bond actor.
Lindy Hemming's work is flawless and she should have been kept through the remaining Craig movies.
Without her, Craig's suits ended up looking too skinny and too tight until No Time to Die.
From this interview sounds like Craig was part of the reason Hemming was never invited to return after CR. Big mistake…. QoS was okay but basically a shitshow after that, including NTTD
Interesting how I think Craig looks worse after she was fired.
His clothes looked great in Quantum of Solace but after that I thought it went downhill because they completely forgot about the casual outfits. When he isn't wearing a suit that stands out from the crowd, it's something ridiculous like Spectre's "tactical" turtleneck.
It's funny how Lindy talked about the shrunken suit accident.
After she left all of Craigs suits look like they shrunk at the dry cleaner.
😉👍
At this rate, you’ll have Sam Mendes on next and then… 🤵🏻. It’s out in the universe now. It’s going to happen 🍸
Lindy knows how to dress James Bond but also Bruce Wayne...
what a big get for the channel
So very true....we were honored.
