Of course! Thank you for checking out the video, much appreciated! I heard you came through and met the group. I hope you had a nice time and welcome to Virginia!! Hope to meet you in the future.
Liked viewing your post , to me it's all about the R specifically the 850 R and the V70R ....i myself have always pretty much had a Volvo my first being a 1990 740 wagon....put a ton of reliable miles before our oldest daughter took her to the grave...not our daughter...the car. I pretty much did all the easy repairs....exhaust manifold and radiator replacement, plug's, wires , ect ect...why ?...because you could !.. very straightforward engine. From there i fell in love with the 122 Amazon wagon's purchasing a 1965 122 wagon.... i like the sedans but love the wagon's. Loved the 850R sedan's back when they first came out...only one thing holding me back at the time =$ fast forward to today sold the 65 Amazon last year....it's actually going back to Sweden. And my 850 R dream of owning is now a reality having purchased last year a 95( yellow)R sedan and a 99 (Lazer blue) wagon . Again loved your post look forward to seeing more. Good luck on your Auto X. , Jim from California 🚙🇸🇪
@@FixitBongbong I love those Volvo 850's but they're impossible to find with a stick here. Most already died to rust here, and the few remaining seem to all be automatics
@@FixitBongbong and hey Bongbong you don't have to thank me for watching your videos. I like watching you and your buddies antics. It's cool to see a group of friends doing car stuff. I'm the only one of my buddies with a car. They make fun of me for driving an old piece of junk and for driving standard. They think I have some God complex because I like driving stick. Lol.
@@Jason-fp7vi correct sir. The R with manual only made it to Canada as a North American release. Every now and again one pops up for sale up there. Otherwise you'll see lots of junkyard scouting for NA 5 speeds for swap. We had a guy just swap his S70 a few weeks ago and test driving it took me back to my 850 GLT 5 speed.
@@FixitBongbong doing alright, just hadn't seen a video in a while so I thought I'd say hi! I went back and looked at your buddys' Volvo. Man what a cool car
@@Jason-fp7vi Thanks for checkin' in! Just dropped a new video today! I try my best to get a video out every two weeks.. but I started a new job recently so I completely dropped the ball. I appreciate you keeping up with the channel!!
Awesome video. Thanks for the shout out! Woot woot 😜
