    I like the setup for the hiking strap that you have done. However,
    how do I setup for it too if I only have 1 bracket at the stern? Thanks.

    Thanks for the video. I'm using a ~6mm mainsheet (polyester braid over dyneema core) as suggested, yet I still find that there's slip using your 'Robert Scheidt method': i.e., it holds if there's constant pressure on the strap, but if there's pressure on and off, it gets a little bit looser every time the strap gets reloaded. Is this common? Any recommendations?

    the "robert scheidt" method however is extremely difficult to adjust while sailing, for example when rounding a mark from upwind to downwind while in the first method it's fairly easy.. personally i prefer the first method. maybe it needs exactly the right rope diameter in order to work properly
