I think you would benefit greatly with a silicone mat so they don’t slide and also. The little magnet things we use for nails designs are superb!! Love this so much! Thank you for sharing
It comes that way, check out the description area on this video there are a bunch of links there for everything I used. Also if you do buy anything please use the links. They are affiliate links which give me a tiny amount for promoting them and people purchasing. Thank you 😊
So far no change, I’ve been using this resin for a little while now and haven’t had any issues but I also find that resin yellows if it’s in the sun for too long. My suggestion is don’t leave in front of windows on a dresser or desk wherever you put your jewelry when not wearing. I always store my resin pieces in a closed jewelry box and so far so good! 😊
I have used another product called triple thick gloss it looks the same as resin when dried and works fantastic only down side it takes a long time to dry. But with that you could definitely hold the crushed glass in place. I’m not sure about varnish holding it for long. If you don’t want to use the crushed glass and just washi tape mod podge or varnish would work fine
I have no idea how this video got passed me but your creations are gorgeous, as always. I have a question. I've been looking for crushed glass and can't seem to find what I'm looking for at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Where did you get yours?
I am not 100 percent sure if it would work the same. I always prefer the uv resin for this stuff bc it cures in minutes. The best I can say is experiment and see how it turns out ☺️
@sherbearsclay Oh gosh, thanks! That's probably why my glue turned white on my crushed stones after I put resin on them. The glue dried clear but when the resin hardened, the glue turned white. Thanks bunches, jyng.

@@carolouimet2851 amzn.to/44mzfK8 this tool comes in handy often, it is a dental tool. ha. I use different dental tools with clay an resin. also, glad to help. always feel free to ask questions.
I’m not 100 percent sure but if I had to guess I would say no. I don’t think Mod Podge would hold up for heavier chunky glitter, this glitter is more like glass pieces. You can just try a small section and see if it works and if you do please let me know
Thanks for replying! I appreciate your tutorial so much. Do you have more of these with wood earrings? I ordered ultra fine glitter to mix with mod podge as i saw in another tutorial so I’ll try that with washi tape. Have you made earrings with washi tape and scrap paper or fabric? I bought washi tape and im stuck
@@EndlessLoveNyx yes I have a few other wood earrings on channel it’s under wood earrings in my list area. I also have a few more I’m going to be listing soon. I kinda go back and forth from wood earrings, clay and resin now

The gold around the edge, front a back just gives them something extra - chef's kiss.

These are beautiful and look like so much fun to make. Does the UV resin turn yellow in time?

Beautiful! I don't have resin. Can I just decoupage the washing tape and seal it with varnish.
