In Genesis 37:10, Jacob provides the interpretation to the dream -- But when he told it to his father and to his brothers, his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves to the ground before you?” Based on Genesis 37:10 -- the sun and moon in the dream are not egyptian gods...but Jacob and Joseph's mother. This dream and its interpretation had been discussed by us in an earlier study -- you may please check that out from timestamp 11:22 mins in this link: ruclips.net/video/4K-XUmH7iZI/видео.html Fascinatingly, the Hebrew script of that verse (Gen 37:10) reveals "Rachel" by name within the Hebrew text. Do give that a look when feasible. Shalom.
Maranatha!!
Joseph's mother died in childbirth, so she did not bow down to Joseph at all! Maybe the Sun and Moon are representing the gods of Egypt?
