- A particle is essentially a point in 3D space and a great world to explore. We can animate this point indirectly using fields, forces and expression. There are a lot of things that a particle can be used, but in this 3 part tutorial, we will be using particles together with instancer to create an exciting exercise.
I hope you will learn and enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed doing this. Have fun!

I really liked the simple tutorial with proper explanations of properties. Also how you made the expressions and the way you teach. Very nice precise and upto mark. You need to get more subscribers. please make some advance dynamics tutorials also. Thank you you are amazing.
I'm so proud of you.
Your method is awesome. Thank you..You're the best.
they have collider but it's sphere collider , it's not fix to object . How can i fix ?
not an expert, but I believe you can't fix that, an instancer is an ilussion, doesn't have a body, so you can't change the way it collide, if you want the object to react according to the shade, you need to work with each model individually
thank you for the tut! easy to follow and very useful! cheers!
Hey, awesome tutorial! I'm using your technique to fill containers with things such as rice, candy, nuts, etc. Is there a way to convert my simulated items to polygons after I'm happy with them? Thanks!
Thaaank u amazing tutorial
i want to convert these particles and instancer to objects like lot of boxes, cylinders in one tub and i want use them as a geometry . Anyone please help me..
Hey, for some reason my particles are created but they dont move like yours, like spread around, they only stay on a single place. Any suggestions ?
I like that. So clearly what you say!
why i cannot ncache 2 instancer, it will show only 1 instancer after ncache done??
I don't have the option for "rotationPP" at 7:14. help??
make sure to tick/check the compute rotation on the rotation tab 7:02
@@kibz thanks! that was it
@@kzukez no problem
awesome bro... got what i was looking for :D ... thanks a ton
Glad to help :)
thank you sir. i enjoyed a lot.
i am so grateful bro ♥
This is very informative, although I found myself pausing the vid at times to try and understand what you were doing(since Im using 2017). There are parts where you were a bit too fast. Still, really helpful.
I want to create dust on the surface of set of objects, but they are dense mesh, would the collider crash my pc?? my pc is nice, but not invincible...
whats the name of the background tutorial Nice tut mate
how would i get this instances converted into polygons without disrupting its shape?
Hey thank you for this tutorial
This is great. Thank you for sharing.
good clear tut brubru
Thank you!
Thank you!!!!!
Thank you for the tutorial. What's that music?
Thanks
Hi, good tuto... i have a small issue, my instance objects are visible along with the particle also. how to avoid this.
does particle colide with each other ? is there a setting for that ?
yo kiboisky, im trying to fill a hopper with coffee beans. when i create the instancer, the beans dont replace the blobby surface or ball objects. whats wrong?
hi were does the rotation pp come from is it custom or am I just not seeing it in the newest version?
hello there. I apologize for the late response, I hope it's not that late though. As far as I remember doing this, "Compute Rotation" must be enabled in the "Rotation tab" for the "RotationPP" to show up. TimeStamp here: 7:01 Hope this helps!
This is awesome. Thank you!
Thanx man.
Grate job brother.....
thanks for tut, but particle object dont have own collider, how to fix it?
sorry for the late response. Actually they do have. but it requires high end spec PC i think because it may freeze your scene. Under attribute editor of the particles, there you can find the option for collision.
Amazing! Thank you very much!
can't find the nMesh -> create passive collider option in maya 2016.
HELP please :/
nvm, got it under nCloth for some weird reason
nvm, got it under nCloth for some weird reason
Same, I think the ,Maya 17 menus are a little different.
Some settings are now under legacy option under the same menu tab. I will update this vids soon.
excellent! Great Job :D
Awesome, thank you!
great video, thanks a lot :)
really helpful tutorial!!!
Hi, how I can convert this particles to meshes? thanks for share
Modify> Convert>nparticle to polygons
😍😍thank you
Nice tutoruial, pinoy ka ba bro?
oo bro, salamat 👍
thank u
Good ..🤗
Can’t believe even maya 2020 don’t have the option to use multiple instance objects. We still need to create the expression manually😑
for the next tutorial, please, do not put background music. But thanks!
And how the hell I could figure this out on my own...
nice explain "SUBSCRIBE" .
thank you , it awesome.......
