Great tips for beginner. Thanks Paul!
Great tips Paul. Loved the shot of the Grebe, beautiful!
Excellent tips, and the images are lovely!
Hi Paul,
Thank You for another great video!
Fab advice once again Paul thank you. GT
Good tip Paul. Nice images as well.
Thanks Paul for lovely & detailed Video. It will help in my Bird photography as well..
Pretty much sums me up to a tea really and tip number 5 is where I excel mainly because I have no expectations no plan just a walk with my camera if I get a shot I'm happy with then great if not I still had a nice walk.
It's a good attitude to have Clive.
Nice one Paul 👍
Thank you Paul your the best on the your tube as especially as you don't use unaffordable latest gear and are down to earth.👍
Bless you James. Thanks very much.
Advice to buy a strap to carry a heavy camera and a bean bag is the best advice! I haven't seen this advice from other people and I'm glad you brought it up. Thank you! Your video is very valuable for beginner bird photographers.
Sorry for the mistakes, English is not my native language.
I highly recommend a Cotton Carrier. It's how I carry my 200-500mm lens out hiking and it helps distribute the weight evenly so I don't end up with a sore shoulder and neck.
@@AelaCulver omg, this is a really cool thing! Thanks for the advice, I'll try to find it. My sigma 150-600 mm lens is really heavy, it should be useful!
Spot on advice :)
Cheers Liam.
You're a true talent.
Too kind! Thank you
I agree with you Paul about investing in a good lens. I have a canon 100-400 ii and I absolutely love it. They are like a VW or Volvo they do tend to hold their value. Great tips 😅
Yes, it's true. That is a very good lens.
@@PaulMiguelPhotography Thank you!
Great advice as usual Paul , all about enjoying it👌Just a thought what about reflection pool photography!
Cheers. Might visit one somewhere. I actually had my own years ago.. it was great fun!
@@PaulMiguelPhotography Thanks for replying Paull appreciated 👍
Thanks, Paul. Watching from my hospital bed and you've cheered me up. Keep up the good work, mate
I'm sorry youre still there buddy. Take care. And thanks as always.
@@PaulMiguelPhotography you're welcome, mate
Hope you get well soon buddy🤞🙏
@@paulbaldwin2290 thank you so much for your kind wishes. Sadly it isn't going to happen. But I will keep going for as long as I can
I think your channel is great....not so much about equipment. But I`d be interested to know what your next camera will be.
Thanks so much Richard. I'ts never really been about the equipment for me. Yes, I'm looking at an upgrade soon.. and when I do I will be discussing it!
Hi Paul, what chair do you use? I see you have a folding one and that would be very useful in the field.
I rarely use chairs, but should do more. I just use cheap folding stools.
Hello Paul, do you shoot mostly in raw or jpeg? Is post processing crucial in wildlife photography? Thanks
I shoot raw. Post processing is not always that important. Really depends on a lot of factors and how pure you want the image to look.
First :)
I'm thinking of investing in a pair of binoculars, what would you recommend. budget around the £200 mark.? 👍
I'm sorry, I don't have the knowledge on that. I have a very old pair!
@@PaulMiguelPhotography Thanks for replying. I’ve picked up a pair in the sales, seam to fit my requirements 👍
which lens foot do you use on your 500mm lens?
I have a Kirk lens foot that I swapped from the original that was on the lens. Bought from Wex.
