My brother-in-law has the iPhone 14 Pro Max for his business. He used it to take photos at a recent birthday party for his sister, held at my house. When my wife saw the photos on his phone, she told me after the party, she said, "You know how I said I don't want an iPhone? Been saying it for the 12 years we've been married... Well... after seeing Omar's photos tonight, I want an iPhone now." 😂 Omar is trying to talk her into getting the 14, but I'm leaning more toward the 16. Seeing this video has cemented my thought. I'm getting her the 16 Pro Max for Christmas. She is quite a good photographer and wants to do Instagram and a RUclips channel... I think it will be perfect for her. I'm using my Samsung Galaxy A33, which is not top bad. But if I ever get serious about a youtube channel, I'm going to need an iPhone 16, too. So... it looks like two 16's for Christmas in my house! 😂🤣
I saw a Hollywood movie that was filmed entirely on an iPhone. Can't remember the name of the movie right now, but it was certainly high quality. Stunning video graphics.
Great video! I've been struggling to record 'talking head' style videos for my channel (specifically in low light). As a complete beginner, I always assumed the higher the fps the better the quality, which is not always the case with low-light videos. Very informative, and clear advice on settings. Kudos!
Super helpful especially for a total noob! Can you link where to buy the camera rig you're using ( 9:24 ) please? I would love to have the same setup for mine. Thanks for linking the other products! :)
Fair perspective, we have noticed that shooting in 4K gives us the most flexibility in post production to recompose images if needed, and certainly gives the best image quality for RUclips.
Never though we’d be here so soon. I have two mirror less cameras that I’m considering repurposing for RUclips exclusively, however I need to purchase new lenses that cost $500ish. I’m also due for an upgrade from my IPhone 12 Pro Max. Given I want to get into RUclips, I am likely looking to save $$. Yeah, the iPhone upgrade just might suit my needs for talk head videos.
What if I’m shooting footage that will go on to a TV? I do workout programs and people often blow them on on their Smart TVs. I was told to always shoot in 1080 instead of 4K. What are your thoughts on this?
Is NTFS / PAL (24 / 25 fps) still a thing? Pretty much all screens should run at 30 or higher. Including TV and computer screens. So why should I still consider recording at anything lower?
Because 24/25 fps is around where our eyes naturally see, this gives more of a cinematic look to the footage. Most movies are still shot with this in mind, whereas talk shows and news outlets record in 30+ fps
iPhones are losing touch with reality because there’s not much improvement on each release. All due to greeds. They will soon find themselves playing catch up!

I really loved this story!! I might gift myself an iPhone 16 as well for Christmas.
They are amazing tools for more than just life but for business too!
Best iPhone 16 Video I've seen all week! 🔥
Super helpful - thank you!!
I appreciate this information!
Thank you
Salem, represent! 😂❤
Thanks. We are close to the day when phones are Hollywood like quality cameras. 😂

You're right! That day is quickly approaching!🤣
Thank you so much for this information!! You are truly appreciated man!!! 🙌🏾✅

Yeah generally your talking head videos should be in 24/30 fps! This will help a lot with lower light situations as well!
informative content.
Awesome video, love it........good job 👍👍
Thank you for an easy to understand video on the 16 pro max!
Happy to help!
Can you comment on macro Mode videos .... I see alot of distortion and blurring and it struggles to focus

So how can I use the mic and hard drive at the same time while recording
Good information! I use my Iphone for my vids.
Can I record talking head videos with my iphone 16pro and use the shure arm micropphone instead of wireless
I disagree on the need to film talking head shots in 4K. That's just not necessary as 4K takes up HUGE amounts of storage space. Just my opinion.
I shoot in 4k and export in 1080 🙈

Just like you I'm due for an upgrade, this video gave me confirmation.😂
I just made a whole video w my iPhone (even though I have a Sony a7iii and zv1) and you would never think “oh that was shot on an iPhone”

I would most definitely shoot in 4K for TV viewing. Maybe even at 30fps instead of 24.
@ OK, thanks! 🙏🏼 It wouldn’t get pixelated when it’s blown up though? That’s what I heard.
thanks

Is there a way to use external storage and a microphone the same time?
Yes! Getting a USB-C splitter/bay works great. Something like this: amzn.to/40ttxYX
Hey there
I like this phone. I want it. But.......😢😢
🍟🍟
iPhone 16 seems to produce much more grainy footage than prior models. This is when in 4k. Seems to be related to their new AI algorithms. Not a fan.
Front camera of iphone sucks..off all cameras i hate front camera of iphone period, not even a filter mode

Thanks
