I think this years Essen offerings are the best for a while. I like Euro games mainly and there a few that got my attention on your list. I am like you when i see a board with good colours (not too bright) and tracks and stuff all over the place with contracts and worker/dice placement. I intend going next year as i will be retired and have the time to do it. Saltfjord.....silent J. Why have words with silent letters....weird. With Phoenix New Horizons i was getting a bit of a Gaia Project vibe.
@@danpalmer7676😂 I played Terra Mystica one time and wasn’t a huge fan, but that was a long time ago. I’d be willing to try it again in the space themed version. I just found out a friend has it so maybe… 😏

Not going to Essen but the games that look interesting to me are Speakeasy and Smoky Valley. Asian Tigers also intrigues me.
