Probably gonna be in the minority on this, but it should still be said regardless.
I think that scene is extremely demeaning towards us men. Why is it that when a man is chained and stripped to bare skin people laugh, yet if a women were put in the same exact situation people would be all up in arms blowing their gaskets at how they could do something so demeaning? Is it funny because he is fit, so therefore he shouldn't have nothing to be ashamed about when he is forced to be naked in front of an audience of people? If thats the case, women with larger assets should feel the same way if they were in his position seeing as many men in the audience would definitely love to see their bodies as well.
It is such a double standard in Hollywood and honestly in the world in general where things can be done to men and it be okay and laughable to everyone and if the exact same thing is done to women then it is not okay and damning to the people who did it. Either it's okay to do or it is not okay to do, there is no grey area. If it's not okay for women, then it shouldn't be okay for men. If it is okay for men, then it should be okay for women too. If a women can say that she doesn't want to show off her bare body in a movie scene then a man should have the same right as well, regardless if they have the body of Superman or Jabba the Hutt.

You are not alone. I honestly didn't care for a long time if men had their shirts off and the women enjoyed and even now I don't care, its the stupid feminist double standard. If this happened to the women, the movie would get cancelled cause this is considered to be sexual assault because his clothes were ripped off without consent but they don't seem to care just like in Wonder Woman, a man's body was used for WW's sexual purposes without consent but the director and even actress herself didn't see an issue with it. Its a double standard all the way. I feel you.

Honestly, it's hilarious how up-in-arms some men get at things like this. If the man is in a situation like this and female viewers find it entertaining, the men watching huff and fold their arms and get all in a bother over it, crying foul and that it's some kind of injustice. Honestly? I just think you're not bloody used to it. You say people would 'blow their gaskets' if the opposite happened, and yeah, some would, but if you actually look at the breadth of popular media over the years and even up to the present day, stuff like this still happens to women, and women themselves even find it funny, too. Just watch any of the reactions to Rush Hour 2 or 3, there's plenty of them. Where's your excuse then? Even more serious content like Game of Thrones is (or at least was) still adored by female fans, even with the amount of demeaning scenes towards women.
Why? Because, yeah, it can suck, but it's still just scripted scenes in movies at the end of the day. Women get that. Which means it's really only men like you who have to kick up a fuss and rely on strawman arguments - in this case, acting like women are hypocrites when they're really not - to try and prove a point. In reality? You probably just have a problem with women and are disguising it behind a stance of faux nobility. Get over yourself.

Honestly, don't. Hollywood actors have access to the best trainers, steroids and all the free time they need to sculpt themselves, as it's literally their job. They also have to remain dehydrated when on set in order to keep off the water weight and look extra cut. And whilst it's true that eating healthy can actually be far more tasty and fulfilling than eating junk food, at the level they're at, it's all just a boring, rigid diet, and you're going to probably hallucinate a pizza and hot wings at some point.
Really, it's not at all worth it to be this ripped.

I didn’t think it was that bad tho. Definitely not the worst one in the MCU. But I think my opinion is probably at least somewhat skewed because Thor is my favorite Avenger as well as one of my top 3 MCU characters in general so….😅

Imagine if it was a woman tied in the middle of an amphitheater, when an old man flicks off her clothes while the audience literally eats popcorn and watches. That's so disgusting I had trouble writing it out. The fact that it is a hot man getting perved on by women from this doesn't justify it any more than if it were a hot woman getting served on by men.
If Thor is your favorite character than you should be mortified at what they did to him in this movie. They turned him into a complete joke. Thor is a serious character in Marvel and a full god. Not a bad pun or throw away joke of a character. Nothing wrong with some humour when it's done correctly and timed correctly but this movie just made the entire character nothing but a bad joke who's a complete idiot. If someone did that to my favorite character I would be less than pleased.
