It’s very easy to make just get egg whites and powdered sugar and whisk until fluffy and then make your usual pancake mix and just add the whisked egg whites in and then cook them that’s it really

I've tried this souffle many times here in Korea, mostly in coffee shops. It is very fluffy and goes great with syrup. However, since it's so thick, the middle is pretty much uncooked and tastes just like the egg white after mixing into foam, which is the main ingredient for its fluffiness. So you'd pretty much be full after just one, not because of the size but because you'd be bloated 😂 That's why my husband likes to call it the "uncooked pancake"

No idea who actually invented it but it's been popular in Japan for a few years now so I assume the Korean shop is called like that to brand themselves as doing Japanese style soufflé pancakes.

It's not as good as it looks. I tried to make them and they tase like raw egg white. It can be good (depends how you cook it) but usual pancakes is much better imo.
