I ran cross country 3 years, haven't competed since freshman year, ended up with a 19:28 5k pr during my final meet. Best mile I ran was 5:45 and my best 2 mile was 12:43, haven't ran in nearly 2 years and just started getting back at it since I'm now doing boxing and my stamina Is not what it once was.

Honest Question: Why talk about 5K time but then post/comment on time (pace?) per mile? Surely, it would be better to comment on time per km? It’s much of a muchness, but always gets me wondering.

Tall runners have longer strides so they tend to run faster. I wonder how tall this guy is because he seems to run much slower than 6 minutes/mile.

This is so ridiculous bro. I’m a high school runner who definitely couldn’t break 3 in the marathon and 19:30 is light work. Maybe I could do a marathon at like 7:10 pace and this dude runs 3 minutes slower than me in the 5k? I call cap. Also don’t give me that “you have more speed” crap this dude was a former college football receiver he definitely had retained some of that speed.
