- Today I was fortunate to experience the new BA Club Suites on board a B787-10 Dreamliner. This was a fantastic experience and definitely left me wanting some more from British Airways. The overall service exceeded my expectations and although British Airways are not the leading airline out to the middle east, they are surely firm competition to the likes of Emirates. I paid 42,000 Avios + £125 tax to upgrade this seat from economy into business.

The fact that business class evolved so much to the point that this seat isn't considered to be the best in the world is crazy
I’m travelling to Seattle on 3rd June on the 787-9, on the seat map on website it shows the new seating arrangement hopefully I’m getting lucky
BA is my favorite airline. Staff are always nice and efficient and prices always competitive.
Prices definitely are competitive, especially on the middle east routes
My Sister and I fly annually to the UK for two months and always fly with BA Business Class........To date we have never had a problem. The Crews are always friendly and professional. The food......cannot fault it. People who do complain are either nit picking or just very hard to please. If you do not like BA ...............choose another. It is as simple as that. Well done on a good flight trip report. I'm thinking of doing one myself in due course too, And its nice to see a new face on the scene. I wish I did it when I flew LHR-SIN Club Suite last year (first time Club experience). All very nice. I was quite underwhelmed by the Heathrow Galleries lounge quite honestly. It really doesnt feel very special. But, the flight crew were superb so can't ask for much more than that. And the food on board was enjoyable.
You should absolutely do one next time, I love watching peoples travel vids haha. I agree with the Heathrow Galleries Lounge, perhaps i went on the wrong day but i felt it was so unmatched compared to the Virgin Clubhouse and it felt like any other priority pass lounge but slightly bigger and more food options.
Excellent review business class on BA looks impressive. I expected you to quote the air fare in Sterling. No problem though.
Thanks for the feedback! It was my first time flying in the new club suite, it's definitely a better product than previous. Also I paid £788 in premium eco and upgraded into business for 42,000 avios and £125 tax (inbound)

I flew in their club suite last year and I am flying in the club suite again with BA in June. I fly business cos I have anxiety and probably some claustrophobia. BA business seats are sometimes much cheaper than other airlines. I just sleep on the flight. Don't care about what others look for in business class 😂 e.g. food, storage, ac, rude airhostess, bathroom, etc. All I care about is a flat bed. 😅
Fair enough! I always struggle to get proper sleep even with the flat bed haha

You said you had an Economy ticket and upgraded to Club with Avios but you are only permitted to upgrade one cabin, so assume you paid for Premium Economy?
Great vid! @10:55 it's probably due to high expectations. When you compare with some of the Middle Eastern carriers BA can get a bit of a bad rap
There’s also a 3rd Club lounge at the Terminal 5 in the B gates.
We did LHR to LA Bizz Class. Sadly at 6ft 7 I didn't fit in the lie-flat bed and my size 13 feet wouldn't squash into the slot provided. The staff were wonderful though!

Glad you enjoyed the video, for my first BA Club Suite experience I had a blast. The amenities bag included some lip balm, moisturiser, sleep mask, socks and ear plugs and all packaged by the White Company.
There are 3 BA business lounges in T5. The 3rd and best lounge is by B
I live in Dubai (since 2005), flights that leave from here (EK) are stupidly priced, try Oman Air, they're decently priced, go via a north african city, it's way cheaper.

Thanks a lot for the feedback - That is something I have been looking into recently as the prices are definitely cheaper via North Africa. Would you recommend Oman Air?
@@IkeTravels Oman Air are brilliant, so much so I fly to Muscat before I go anywhere, It adds a few hours but the quality of their product and the price point makes it fantastic.
Emrates and Qatar are just too expensive (but have better route networks).
If I can fly via Muscat direct to my destination, then I do it.
The new club suite is vastly superior than the old style. The BA cabin crew each time I’ve flown with them have been great. I have also noticed generally that since Covid, cabin crews seem much more attentive.

Just waiting on BA to implement the Club Suites on the route to Singapore 😅
Fly on BA15, from October till March they use the 777. After that it reverts back to 787 with the old style suites.
@@southerncross4774 I did it once and they changed aircraft last min to 787-9 😭😭😭
BA gain a lot of profits for seat selections with old club world. That is why is delayed the retrofit for another 5 years to fully complete all fleets. With the new club suite it is hardly any bad seat compared to yin yang horrible seat.
The South lounge is definitely better methinks..
The FA in the thumbnail looks like an absolute SLAG! Looks like she takes reams of pilots on layovers.
