Field Yates on Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean:
Mitchell had a dominant college career at Toledo that included 39 pass breakups over his last two seasons, and he followed it up with stellar showings at the Senior Bowl and combine. He was on the short list of the cleanest prospects in the class and he filled Philadelphia's biggest need. Darius Slay and James Bradberry are both over 30 years old, and GM Howie Roseman was able to land my CB1 way down at No. 22 without trading up.
I'm enough of a fan of DeJean that if he had gone No. 22 overall to the Eagles, he would have made my list of favorite first-round picks. But at No. 40? Steal. The Eagles' need for speed this offseason has now been met with the additions of Mitchell and DeJean. The latter of whom offers positional versatility to boot. DeJean is a springy, confident man-to-man coverage player with elite ball skills -- he picked off seven passes in college.

I was talking to my chiefs fan friend about Quinyon Mitchell. I asked him what he thought about Mitchell. His response: "Remember who we had that came from Toledo? Kareem Hunt. I know hes not the same player now but remember how he was when he first came into the league. Quinyon is going to be a top corner"

Don't want the Dejean doing kickoff returns! That's like putting your best wide receiver out there to do kickoff returns. You don't want them to get hurt doing something other than their real job! Besides, covey was nearly the number one returner last year
As there's way more to being a good return specialist other than just straight-line speed. You got to have the moves along with it. Let Covey do his job because he's good at it. Can't afford to lose Dejean from an injury received returning kickoffs!
That's definitely something to consider
They aced the off seasean tbh the only thing we need next yr is a replacement for Lane and maybe a Lb

Id love to see this team gel and hit the geound running this yr but new coordinators lot of new players i can see this taking a yr to really take "flight" but with that said i see 12 wins with a division title playoff birth but i think deep in the playoffs will be a next yr thing when it all comes together
