the holy Quran is the direct word of Allah, Hadith and Sunnah are the teachings of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) which for the first few centuries of Islam were passed from one generation to another Orally, thus making them prone to misinterpretation and misguidance. The holy Quran on the other hand cannot and will not be subjected to the same conditions, you just cannot rewrite it, may have tried, it always stands out and appears very clearly that it does not belong in those pages. That way the holy Quran is Mohammad's miracle.
I think this is an interesting concept but it seems to me they just made a new islam that is in almost every sense completely separate from the teachings of Muhammad and Islam itself.
Its not even different or serparated They follow the same pillars (both pillars of faith and religion), just that they actually have an effort to understand the real essence of the original teaching throught philosophical and scientific studies, rather than just blindly follow whatever an imam-wannabe tells them. In short, they're basically just enlightenment era Islam reborn in space.
