For the price, great dounding and LOOKING guitar. Maple defines the HIGHs real easily. Unfortunately, maple doesn't go far below MIDs for the low end frequencies. I guess this is why the body of the acoustic is an extra large jumbo. But it all works together, beautifully.
I’m a beginner at 58 and I’m going to buy a 12 string soon..has been on my bucket list for just about 40 years..thanks.. I’m looking at a (Martin) at a local mom and pop music store in my city $649 acoustic/electric..thank you
If you want deep lows (bassy), great MIDs and HIGHs, get an acoustic with rosewood back and sides. If you want brilliant HIGHs and MIDs but very little bass, get a maple back and sides guitar. Mahogany is the most common back and sides material. It is great for balance. Bass, MIDs and HIGHs. Have fun and happy shopping. 👍
A great player playing a great guitar. I love the sound of maple,
