    I just have to say I absolutely love your "matter of fact", easygoing nature and way of explaining things! As a "worrier" who thinks of a million "what ifs??", it's like you read the worrier mind and casually mention, "I could've done [blah] but [blah]" and you succinctly explain why you choose one decision over another, and what the scenario might be to go a different route. It's WONDERFUL!! 😂 Thank you!! 😊

    I am so excited. I am obsessed with hellebores, I just love the blooms . I had 3 plants which were just hitting their stride when we sold the house. I planted 12 plants at my new house this fall. I wish I knew about the seedlings from my old plants last May when we moved but I will be looking for them from now on once my plants start flowering. I put in more mature plants so I’m hoping it won’t take quite as long as my old ones did.

    I watched this video just to learn how to pronounce "hellebore." Was not disappointed!

    Thank you 💚🙃 The trick for me to get hellebore seeds is to be able to grow the mother plant💚🙃

    I have one I just purchased a couple of weeks ago and it's still in a pot. Can I plant it now and should it be in the shade? Zone 5 Ontario. Canada

    Hey there Bob, thanks again for this! Question, if you see this (as it’s an older video and you’ve moved on, busy guy, etc):
    It’s 30 January in my Zone 6B Louisville, KY garden. I can wait a bit to clump up some little guys, dig up the bigger guys, but I don’t want to forget to transplant some of these seedlings again this year, plus the leaf blower lawn guys show up way too early and if I’m not on it they blow the seedlings to kingdom come.
    2 years ago I tarped the area and they were spared. So now I have some decent-sized plus lots of babies.
    But is it too early? Any advantage (other than more growth) to waiting x number of weeks?

      If you can dig the soil - it is not too early. These guys are tough.

    Thanks for the info Robert :) Question - when is the best time to transplant hellebore?

    • @Gardenfundamentals1
      @Gardenfundamentals1  3 года назад +1

      You could probably do it any time, but spring is best.

      @@Gardenfundamentals1 Thank you :) BTW - what are the hellebores you're holding up at 1:44 and 1:54?
