I must say the iconic sound effects of Missile Command, brought back great memories of being in my local leisure centre, as a kid, back in the early eighties, with Missile Command & Battlezone, side by side, which i used to, straight after school, run in there, and play them every night. I’ve got mine coming next week, bought it mainly for missile command. I beat the original one way back in 80’s while I was a young 18 year old Airmen in the USAF. I spent at least the cost of this machine in quarters and am looking to see if I’m as good at 57 years old as I was at 18!🥴 I’ve built a small bar top retro for my bar, 3d printed it and it’s a hit with everyone who comes over, this should blow them away, if it meets my expectations I’ll buy a few more, My 86 year old mother in law kicks but on many of the games, she had a pizza joint in the 80’s and the two machines made as much money as the pizza sales!
Thomas 1Up hey I would LOVE MISSLE COMMAND horizontal Arcade 1up countercade as well as Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe Countercade. Any chance of making more premium counter cadets that are pre-engineered to be modded. Reflective screens (Midway/Taito/Asteroids between LCD and screen/mirror?). Light up marquee? Etc.. for instance build yourself kits for more out of the box custom etc. anyway if Missle Command or Asteroids/Asteroids Deluxe horizontal countercade get released I will buy. I might order a Pac-Man this month just to show my support. :)
Centipede and Millipede were my go to games in the arcade because they were so easy to play for hours, and I was always able to get a high score or even turn the game over. Zaxxon was another game that I held the national high score on since I could play for over 8 hours without losing a man. But that was a game, like Pacman, where you only needed to remember a pattern to play the game to not lose. I doubt they will ever make Zaxxon, Mousetrap, Tron, or Robotron as cabinet games since I don't think the controls would make the games cost effective to make.
Yes, I would love for Arcade 1Up to acquire the rights for all Williams games so they could make an arcade machine with Defender, Stargate, Robotron, Joust, Sinistar, and then throw in some classic pinball games that they made from the 1970s to 1990. WMS is now primarily a gambling machine game company.
I alway's loved the "explosion" sound at the end of game (missile Command) when you lose your last life in the Atari2600 version. I would pump up the volume all the way..found it hilarious when i was a kid. Cannot wait for my A1up Centipede cab 👍
Very tempted by the defender one I saw in Aldi in Sydney. They were discounted $150 to $300 ( aud) and the manager said they hadn’t sold any. But I saw some reviews on Defender on this unit and all said it was unplayable. Defender is probably THE best game after Robotron so to compromise it makes no sense. I will look out for the Robotron cabinet and maybe it will come to Australia
Wish you could have played a little more of Crystal Castles... loved that game. Defeat the witch with the magic hat on the 4th boards! Bentley Bear collects gems in the game to advance boards.
Take the Arcade 1up the overlay to Home Depot and you could do a color match of the blue color so you could do a touch up...is "Simi Gloss" and get a sample size it goes for 4 or 5 dollars for the simi gloss sample
My wife let me get the Rampage cabinet as my one and only Christmas gift. I'm completely satisified to just get that. A dream come to true to have my own arcade machine.

I'm sad as my Rampage cabinet has been delayed till 11/1. Hopefully that is so they can fix the issue with Gauntlet glitching out after mission 31 and to put the clear plastic overlay into the box so that the paint is protected. Just wish they would put higher quality buttons and joysticks in. I'm hearing that a lot of people are having theirs die pretty quickly.
trying running this diagnostic test, that this user found, ruclips.net/video/WYk1hmzPZxg/видео.html 1) turn off machine 2) make sure volume is in center 3) hold down all 3 buttons and player 1 and 2 4) turn on machine 5) keep everything held down until : TEST MODE B appears onscreen and you hear a chime 6) go through all the diagnostics this may help with the trackball responsiveness. later -1

I would protect it with clear coat or mylar. I love my centipede cabinet as well and arcade1up sent me a new Deck due to the paint blemishes

Defender is my favorite game on these Arcade 1Up cabinet. People saying its unplayable is beyond me.

How is it holding up? Does the trackball still work fine?
Mine is holding up fine.Ordered a plastic cover from Arcade1Up to protect my control panel for free. I am happy with my cabinet!
I called up Arcade1Up on phone and talked to them about getting one and they sent out in couple weeks.
Just got one, the track ball doesn't respond worth a darn. If I can't fix it I'm sending mine back

Mine seems to work fine. It is not as good as an arcade Centipede trackball but seems to do the job for me.
you can tell the trackball is all kinds of jerky. shouldn't be like that.
