good day Sir, I decide to contact you after watching your video on how to replace nozzle. I am having problem to choose sprinkler which will cover the whole area after a etude of the area I four sprinkler to cover it. I install four sprinkler on the field. the result is not what I expected. I will be glad if you can tell me the best sprinkler in the market the year 2017 which can cover the whole. I have the pictures I took after my installation. (hunter model)
A11iOop You want to unscrew the set/retaining screw that takes the allen tool. Best to do this with the sprinkler on, it will pop out about a foot. Then you can read the number of what tip was in there before if replacing the rotor. Also, FYI......the set screw can be screwed down further to dissipate the stream along the distance of arc of the distance. Allowing coverage/distribution between the distance of the length of coverage.
@@andrewetta6638 Thanks for your answer. I had done all of the above, and it only came out part way and then got stuck. I must have twisted it wrong, or something. I decided to push it back in, but that was difficult, too. Once I got it back in and tried again, it came out like butter. Not sure what I had done the first time, except that it was not clear by looking at it what direction it was supposed to come out, and so I think I was twisting it which caused it to get stuck.
If your nozzle is a Hunter I-20, in the very center of the nozzle you will see a small slit in the rubber cap on the top of the sprinkler head. Right by that slit it will say "OFF" with an arrow that shows a clockwise direction. Insert the plastic end of the Hunter sprinkler key and turn the key clockwise until the key stops spinning. Do NOT over-tighten the key to the "OFF" position and remove the key. That's it.

How do you REMOVE the nozzle?
Tom Me exactly what I turned to this video for! Very hard to pull out! How do you properly use the tool to pull it out without destroying it?

Why wasn't removal of the old nozzle shown? Strange.
