My friend told me he had never liked English. To be honest, nor had I! Hardly ever did I open a grammar book. Never before had I been happy with learning English. But scarcely had I discovered SMASH English when I realized the meaning of life. Not only does SMASH English exist to help me, but also I exist to watch it.

@@SMASHEnglish hello! To be honest the first part was correct even if it was hard to "improvise" sentences with inversion. I also managed to use a "nor do I" during the short debate haha.
However, during part 2 my 2 photographs and the question didn't allow me to speak a lot (it was a company meeting and 4 people (friends) discussing in a Cafe). The question was something like "why are these people sitting here"... Hard to talk long about it. Also, I argued on the opposite of the question asked in part 3 oops😬 i hope i wont lose too many points.
Finally, in part 4, my questions were a bit difficult (much more than my partner's) and a hesitated a lot but kept it simple. Otherwise apart from these errors, the rest of the exam went well.
I'll let you know the results when I'll have them.
Now lets prepare the written exam! 4 hours in a row😴. Its next Wednesday. I'll watch all your videos about it haha

I thought I saw something a little strange. I ran it through the GPT, here was the response: Do I need the pronoun in this sentence between but and also? Yes I do! I love skiing because not only is it fun, but also a great way to stay in shape.
    ChatGPT
Yes, you do need the pronoun "it" in the sentence between "but" and "also" to maintain proper parallel structure. Here's the corrected sentence:
"Yes, I do! I love skiing because not only is it fun, but it's also a great way to stay in shape."
Adding "it" ensures that the sentence maintains parallel structure with the first clause ("I love skiing because..."). This makes the sentence clearer and grammatically correct.
Would it be grammatically incorrect without that pronoun?
    ChatGPT
No, it wouldn't necessarily be grammatically incorrect to omit the pronoun "it" between "but" and "also" in your sentence. The sentence would still be understandable and convey the intended meaning. Here's the sentence without the pronoun:
"Yes, I do! I love skiing because not only is it fun, but also a great way to stay in shape."
In this version, "it" is implied from the earlier part of the sentence ("I love skiing because..."), so the meaning is clear. However, including the pronoun "it" can make the sentence smoother and help maintain parallel structure, which some writers may prefer. It's a matter of style and personal preference. Both versions are grammatically acceptable.
Sounds strange to me to omit the pronoun, but it's a style matter I suppose.

Yes it is! I would abbreviate it though to avoid repetition:

I'd also use the word inhabitants instead of occupants. Occupants usually refers to people residing in a property (a flat, or house) rather than a geographical location.
