Minutes after re-watching your video I got a root shell!! Your tips helped me regroup and regain focus. Now I'm hopeful I can learn from it for my next OSCP attempt.
I think a lot of professionals even forget to take a step back and consider the basics, like problem solving. Going back and approaching the problem a different way or trying a new way of think can often lead to the best results.
