Im 49 and I have Huntingtons disease and I was just diagnosed with a very aggressive stage 3 triple negative breast cancer on top of the Huntingtons... and I have no support system to speak of. Im not giving up however!
Hey, just some news. The Huntington’s gene actually produces an enzyme that kills cancer cells! I know sad that you still have hd but the breast cancer shouldn’t progress! Good luck keep us updated
I live in Florida and have Huntington's, My brother has it much worse than me and is 10 years older. I am 46 and lost my father of 73 years to complications of a failed suicide attempt. He had the disease, and couldn't deal with the disease effecting his every day life taking away his will to do things he's been doing all his life. My sister passed away in her 40's from Aids, and my other Sister may have HD but refuses to be tested because she is already dying slowly from obesity. She is roughly 460 pounds, and confined to oxygen with COPD and Oxygen. My whole family had just always been one huge tragedy after another!! some of which could have been treated, or coped with on a different level had my family members not been so stubborn. My mom lived with us a a couple years after Dad passed, but now it's best she lives her life out on her own in a complex with many other elderly her age. I still drive, and take her out, and try to call her every day!! She's all I have left, except my spouse I live with who helps me financially to live here and pay rent and all the bills.
According to this article: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28523359 , the methylation of a cytosine can indeed create an inadvertent STOP codon; therefore, drugs that inhibit the enzyme DNA methyltransferase ( like 5-azacytosine ) could give patients with Huntington's disease, and perhaps even patients that suffer from Progeria, ( I'm not sure about Progeria yet ) a chance to live longer, until a specific CRISPR-CAS protocol is developed to remove excessive CAG triplet repeats from the patients' genomes, that would be the definite cure. I've been dedicating many hours to try to find ways to defeat this terrible disease and I hope I'm right after so much research.
That's so sad to hear you are still suffering from this same situation . Am feeling for you right now, I know of a doctor who can help you get rid of this. He also help me from this same situation , He can also help cure yours permanently
4 years ago I was diagnosed with HUNTINGTON DISEASE and I have tried everything I could to heal myself, but it was all to no avail, until I saw a post on a health forum about an herbalist preparing herbal medicines to cure everything type of diseases. including HUNTINGTON DISEASE , at first I doubted it was real, but decided to give it a try, when I contacted this herbalist through his email and he prepared me a herbal cure for HUNTINGTON DISEASE and sent it to me via the delivery service of UPS from the company, when I received this herbal cure. , gave me step by step instructions on how to apply it, when I applied it according to the instructions I was totally cured of this deadly disease within 4 months of use, I am now HUNTINGTON DISEASE free, all thanks to Dr. Joshua Ighalo. You can also contact this great herbalist for help by email: drjoshua.ighalo@gmail.com or contact Dr. through his whats-app: +2349057958723. They also specialize in the treatment of all kinds of diseases, VIRUS HERPES , HEPATITIS B, CANCER, BRAIN DISEASE, INFERTILITY, DIABETES AND MORE.
I knew a woman whose daughter inherited it from her dad she was finally diagnosed at 12 she was 21 when she passed. This is dear to my heart because her onset was about 6 years old when the symptoms started.
My dad had Huntington's he was one of six we don't know if anybody else has come down with it as in those days people were hospitalized institutionalized for it they didn't know how to treat it until later on when my father started showing signs he wasn't diagnosed until his death and he was indeed in the third stages not a pretty thing to see frustrating my father was a good kind man this disease destroyed him Young
I don't mean to laugh but that was funny that you noticed that! Now I can't stop laughing! On a heavier note this is one of the worst diseases ever! ✌🏼
I have nursed people with this it’s so cruel you are so brave please continue to spread the word so people do not pass it on to their babies xx

Living positively doomed. Cheers!
Everything I've read Huntington's makes you angry.
The lady in the green, not impressed, she hogged the mike, but still very good information xxx
Yes. The one in White was not given much of an opportunity.
WWJD? What would Jesus do?
Jesus couldn't have known about HD in his day. If HD positive, he was crucified before he could have had any symptoms. Cheers!
