Taversia tries to make sense of the audiovisual media she was exposed to from an early age, which persisted all throughout her life. I can confess that Aladdin and Jasmine in the 1992 film have awakened something in me when I was a wee lass raised in a heteronormative environment.

Didn't Sleeping Beauty involve a dude who was bound and gagged by the villain, but then rescued by 3 older women who then armed him to go slay the villain and save Princess Aurora? They also pretty much carried him during the entire fight turning things that would have instantly killed him into harmless things. It seems like they could have just saved the kingdom themselves, but needed a male specimen to wake up the Princess.
The damsel in distress archetype can be found in stories throughout the ages. Makes me wonder if you don't have your chicken and egg backwards, either way stay kinky and have a wonderful day.

This is interesting and amusingly stated. I wonder perhaps when kid's TV will stop being boners and innuendo, but yet still shudder at the thought--I mean where's the fun in looking back at your childhood and without being able to facepalm when you realize that the beloved cartoon you watched was nothing but dick jokes, flying at your face.
